Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Stencil Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to get your paints, inks, pastes etc out and have fun with:

MIXED MEDIA

Estelle decorated a clipboard. She used Tim Holtz Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint along with a Bubbles Cling Stamp embossed with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder. She used Steampunk Parts and die cut embellishments and a sea horse stencil. She added Tim Holtz Snippets ephemera and Mummy Cloth. Through  the porthole, you can see real shells.

Andrea made a tag using all sorts of media: Distress Crayons (sets 1, 7 and 12), stamps, (MFT’s Connected and Studio Light’s Script and Stitches), patterned paper (Vicki Boutin’s Color Study and Dina Wakley’s Ledger Paper, Set 2) and paint.

Anna-Karin made an art journal page, working on a jeans page in Dina Wakley’s Blue Edition Media Journal. She used Distress Paint, pens, stamping, Ranger Galaxy Stickles Glitter Gel and Therm o web Gold Deco Foil to create the background.

Barbara created a tag dedicated to Halloween, with her favorite colors combo for this year: green and purple! She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Unraveled stamp set, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Marking Mini Layering Stencil Set 53, Tim Holtz Sizzix Trick or Treat Colorize Thinlits Dies, Tim Holtz Ranger Ink Distress Grit Paste Translucent and, Distress Mica Stain set 4.

Cheiron created a tag using some Halloween Idea-ology combining it with sprays, stitching and more. She stamped her background using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Eclectic stamps. She added a Halloween Paper Doll, Halloween Ephemera and a sentiment from the Halloween Baseboards.

Emma’s freestanding Etcetera Tag features some Tim Holtz’s brand new Halloween idea-ology and she used different mediums to add texture and detail to her make, including Grit Paste, Translucent Crackle Paste, Alcohol Inks and she also shows you how to make drippy candle wax with hot glue!

Kath decorated a Ranger 8″ x 8″ Alcohol Ink HardCore Art Panel with Alcohol Inks, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Gothic Tapestry and Eccentric, Idea-ology Eccentric and Specimen Remnant Rubs and Distress Crypt Grit Paste with the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Crest Mini Layering Stencil from Set 53

Macarena altered a tin from her stash with different Prima Marketing Finnabair products: Jewel Texture Paste, Grunge Frames and Amun and Bast moulds. She finished the project with White Gold and Firebird Metallique waxes.

Maura loves mixed media and created an art journal spread inspired by her recent trip to New York City. She used Stamperia’s Sir Vagabond Aviator Statue of Liberty stencil, Stamperia’s Romantic Our Way Journey Elements stencil, Dina Wakely paints like Magenta and Tangerine, and Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks like Ocean.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil GRIME for the texture on the background, and decorated it with Stamperia Savana A5 Colored Wooden Shapes and Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Sizzix Brushstroke Butterflies Thinlits Dies for the main focus of her ATC. She also used Tim Holtz Sizzix Wildflower Thinlits Dies. She then used Tim Holtz IdeaOlogy Tape Trims and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Dearly Departed to add more interest to the background. (Video tutorial here)
