Thank you for joining us for the Movie Inspiration Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are challenging you to make something using:
RED, WHITE AND OR BLUE
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Paper Rose. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your crafty makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!
Please remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details of how we made these creations and leave these wonderful girls some comment love
This week we are welcoming the lovely Rox aka Red Dirt Crafter into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
Rox made a beautiful card using a Paper Rose Watercolour Landscapes 6×6 Paper Pack, Candied Apple Distress Oxide and Dylusions White Linen Ink to make the background. She then used a circle die, a Paper Rose Modern Poppies Stamp Set and Honeysuckle Circle Die to add foliage. She finished by adding a Paper Rose Little Bird 2 bluebird.
Anna-Karin created a red, white and blue background with Simon Says Stamp Mix and Match Circles stencil on kraft cardstock. The dimensional pansy flower was made with Paper Rose Etched Pansy 1 die set.
Barbara used the Paper Rose Eucalyptus Stem1 as the focal point of her tag. For the background, she used Tim Holtz Sizzix Woodgrain Colorize Thinlits Dies and the sentiment is from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Crazy Talk Stamps Set.
Cheiron created a festive tag for the 4th. She used Paper Rose Arty Love papers to create her tag. She cut shapes from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Media Marks and Falling Stars dies. She attached all of the pieces with a tiny attacher to make it super easy. Finally she cut the Countdown number from red paper and added it to a seal that I cut with the Sizzix Seal Switchlits.
Emma used Paper Rose Textures 1.0 Paper Pack to create the background on her Stampers Anonymous Small Etcetera Tag that she made in celebration of the 4th of July. She completed the project with a Paper Doll Portrait, a vintage clip and Flashcard.
Kath made a card to wish all her friends in the USA a very happy 4th of July using Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink and Paint, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bubbles, Falling Stars Layering Stencil and Mechanical Element Stencils, Sizzix Alphanumeric Shadow Upper Thinlits and balloons fussy cut from Paper Rose Sunny Days patterned paper.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Oriental Garden 12 X 12 Paper on the background and decorated it with Paper Rose Shelby’s House Clear Stamp and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Quote Bands Findings.
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
