Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Texture Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to make:

NOT A CARD

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! Ann made a decorative wall plaque. For the background she used  Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Slate and  Crackle Paste. For the flowerpot she used a Lumber 3D Embossing Folder and a  Potted Bigz Die she also
used a Wildflower Stems 1 Die Set for the beautiful floral arrangement.  

Andrea made a cover for a notebook using Fairy Hugs’ Water Stains stencil. Dina Wakley’s Typed Media Ledgers 1 and Tim Holtz’s Ephemera Snippets Number Strips and Media Marks 2 Stamp Set.

Anna-Karin altered a tin and embellished it with a paper flower attached with a magnet. The flower was made with Simon Says Stamp Etched Magnolia Blossom and Tender Leaves dies. The circles on the lid were made with Simon Says Stamp Mix and Match Circles stencil.

Barbara this week chose an Etcetera tag Mini for her project. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder Doily, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Ledger Script Stamp Set, Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Foundry Wax Statue, Idea-ology Paper Dolls Portraits and a lot of Idea-Ology Ephemera packs.

Cheiron created a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Oxides, Media Marks 1, and Typeset Collage Paper. She finished her tag with an Idea-ology Paper Doll, an Engraving Layer, and a Thoughts Label Sticker.

Emma was inspired by one of her favourite movies, Stand By Me and she created a Mini Clipboard, embellished with layer upon layer of Tim Holtz idea-ology, including Mini Paper Dolls, Gauge Frames, Gauge Dials, Ruler Piece and an Arrow Adornment.

Kath decorated a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Vignette Card File with Idea-ology Curator Ephemera Snippets and Design Tape Trims to hold Art Collage panels created with Idea-ology Pocket Cards, Flashcards, Snapshots, Photobooth, Stencil Cards, Urban and Botanical Layers, a box of inspiration for future projects.

Macarena played in her Art Journal making a birdy page with Tim Holtz Feathered Friends and Stacked-Tiles Hexagons dies. She built the backgound with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Typeset Collage Paper and Numeric stencil.

Maura made a Happy Day tag using Studio Light Label and Moodles die set, and Simon Says Stamp Sunbeam and Sweets Pawsitively Saturated Inks.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Oriental Garden 12 X 12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI and Stamperia ATELIER DES ARTS Die Cuts.

Sandra used a Heavystock Tag to create her project and played with Distress Spray Stain Salvaged Patina and Crackling Campfire to create the background. On top she used the new Simon Says Stamp Arches Background stamp with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and Crackling Campfire from the Yay You release.

Zoey used Distress Paint and Distress Stain to add color to her background – then she decorate her tag with Distress Texture Paste Translucent, Tim Holtz Flashcards, Tim Holtz Snippets Ephemera and Solos Paper dolls
