Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to make something:

WHATEVER THE WEATHER

Cassie used a Tim Holtz Dapper Cling Stamp Set and an umbrella from the Gent’s Die Set. For the background she used a 3D Typewriter Embossing Folder and Foundry Wax along with Antique Linen and Salvaged Patina Distress Inks. The umbrella is heat embossed with Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. 

Andrea is not a fan of crazy wind storms, but she is a fan of this great image from Katzelkraft’s Windy Day stamp. She paired that with a Dylusions Back Chat sticker sentiment and Distress Ink (Salty Ocean and Black Soot) to create her “Be Brave” card.

Anna-Karin takes a walk in almost any weather and made an art journal page about rainy forest walks. She used the Simon Says Stamp Forest Scenery stamp set for the trees and the Clouds For Days stencil to create the sky.

Barbara thinks that whatever the weather or season, a motivation book is always a good idea. That’s why she has created this mini book for this challenge using Tim Holtz’s latest Idea-ology collection. To decorate and finish her project, she also used Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paste Translucent, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencil Hearts, Tim Holtz Sizzix Stacked Tiles Hearts.

Cheiron created a card with a background using the Simon Says Stamp Raindrops stamp set and Distress Embossing Glazes. She added lots of Tim Holtz Idea-ology including Paper Dolls Portraits, Baseboards Window Frames and Ephemera Pack Memoir.

Emma used Tim Holtz products to create a vintage style Mini Etcetera Tag. She used one of her favourite Group Paper Doll images, and stood them underneath an umbrella, which she die cut using The Gent Thinlits Die Set by Sizzix before layering them over a background of Collage Tiles.

Kath created a card as a reminder that, even on the cloudiest of days, you can bring sunshine into someone’s life using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Flower Field, Funky Floral 1, Bunny Games and Alphanumeric Tiny Type Lower Thinlits, Latticework Mini Layering Stencil, Idea-ology Bouquet Findings and Simon Says Hello Sunshine to complete the sentiment.

Macarena went very rainbowish on the background using Tim Holtz Rings by stamping each line with a different Tim Holtz Distress Oxide rainbow color. For the main element she used Tim Holtz Lovestruck Colorize dies.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Oriental Garden 12X12 Paper on the background and decorated it with Stamperia Alchemy Sun and Moon Grayboard and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Found Relatives.

Sandra made a stormy card using colors like Distress Oxide Stormy Sky, Metallique Paint Stormy Ocean and Nuvo Shimmer Powder Storm Cloud. 

Zoey used Distress Oxide for her background and then she used the new Woven 3d Texture Folder . For her cluster she used Tim Holtz Idea-Ology and Tim Holtz Sizzix Bold Text 2 for the sentiment.
