This week the challenge is:

As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Carabelle Studio. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your crafty makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!

This week we are welcoming back the lovely Estelle Palumbo aka Atouscrap into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Estelle created a greeting card for the new year using a new  Carabelle Studio Caféine Stamp Set, a Carabelle Studio Wire Mesh Stencil and a Carabelle Studio Art Printing Texture Plate along with Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks.

Andrea was only too happy to add two new Carabelle Studio stamp sets to her stash: Fairy Town and Little People. She used them to make a trio of tiny tags that were cut with Studio Light’s So-fish-ticated Mini Tag dies and decorated with paint and AALL & Create’s Inspire washi tape.

Anna-Karin made an art journal page to celebrate the beginning of a new year. She used Carabelle Studio Bulle Deau stamp together with Simon Says Stamp Mixed Labels. The bubbles were stamped with Simon Says Stamp Soft Navy ink.

Barbara wishes everyone of you a New Year full of love and health! She created a tag using Carabelle Studio Constellation Stencil, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Cozy Christmas, Tim Holtz Ranger Holiday Texture Set, Etcetera Tag#8.

Cheiron created a New Years tag for her art journal using Carabelle Studio Little People stamps. She used a background from her stash and stamped over it using Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Archival Ink and the Stampers Anonymous Faded Type, Christmastime 2, Field Notes and Mini Media Marks stamps. She added a few Sizzix Swirling Stars to make it even more festive.

Emma wanted to wish everyone a very happy and safe new year and made a tag using the Carabelle Studio Constellation stencil to create the background for her bluebird of hope, which is die cut using Tim Holtz’s Feathered Friends Thinlit die set by Sizzix. She added some Festive Bouquet foliage for the nest and stamped the sentiment from the Festive Overlay stamp set.

Kath made a set of Happy 2022 cards to send to family and friends using Distress Oxide Inks with her Ranger Gel Printing Plate, Carabelle Studios Postcard Texture Plate, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Inventor 1 and Great Outdoors stamp sets and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Varsity and Swirling Stars Thinlits and Simon Says Happy die for the sentiment.

Lols made a card using a new Carabelle Studio ‘Here Kitty Kitty’ Cling Stamp and a Constellation Stencil along with some new Simon Says Stamp Sherbet Glitz Glitter Gel.

Macarena is encouraging us to try new things this year. She made a card using Carabelle Studio Like Umbrellas stencil on a smaller panel and Tim Holtz Sizzix Retro Type die as a focal point.

Maura is celebrating the new year playing with Carabelle Studio’s Rayon stamp, the new Pawsitively Saturated inks from Simon Says Stamp, Gradient 1 and Gradient 2 sets, and adding some shimmer with Tim Holtz Mica Stains.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using her new clear stamp Stamperia Lady Vagabond Cling Stamps and decorated it with Prima Marketing Mauve Dream Sharon Ziv Flowers and Tim Holtz IDea-Ology Theories Quote Chips.

Sandra’s dad is turning 75 in a few days and she made him a colorful birthday card using Distress Ink Speckled Egg and Crackling Campfire. For the texture she used the Simon Says Stamp Geometric Lattice Embossing Folder of the new release called To The Moon

Zoey is starting this new year with getting back to videos (hopefully, lol) She used a bunch of Distress Paint and Inks paired with some Tim Holtz Halloween ephemera and Halloween Worn Wallpaper and Stamps from StampersAnonymous Specimen and Block Number. She also used for the first time the mini stencil from the set #48

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

  1. Thank you for the new challenge – I just happened to be finishing up to cards this morning using New items – have a blessed day and thanks to the DT for their inspiration!

  2. Another great challenge! Question – is the deadline for entry Monday, January 10th? (I believe we’ve already passed the date it currently lists on this post, unless I’m misreading it.)

    Thank you!

    Blessings,
    C

  3. Hello! This is my first time doing a challenge. Earlier today the link to add a submission for the Monday challenge was not working for me. I also saw that above it says the deadline is Monday Jan 3rd? So I posted it to Wednesday’s challenge page. Now I came back here and the link is working, so I’ve uploaded the submission to Monday’s challenge. Is that okay? I don’t know how to/if I should delete what I submitted to the Wed. challenge post.

    1. Hi Sarah :-) It is fine to join in with both challenges with the same project!! Thanks XX What number is your entry Sarah? I would love to pop by but can’t see your name xx

      1. Thank you so much for taking the time to clarify! Looks like I’m number 74 on here, “New Paths!”
