This week we are welcoming the lovely Susan Babcock aka Susanbcards into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Susan made a home decor piece for her buffet using the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Woodland Santa and Festive Bouquet dies colored with Distress Sprays. The center of the piece is stamped with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Winter Watercolor stamps and Distress inks.

Andrea stealthily stuck a subtle Santa image into her elf’s wrapping paper! The elf was made using Tim Holtz’s Toil and Trouble die set and the presents and sentiment are from his Seasonal Scribbles stamp set. And that star? It’s a cookie shape from Tim’s Retro Oven die set.

Anna-Karin made Christmas tag using Tim Holtz Christmas Classics stamp set. The stars and sentiment were die cut from Metallic Kraft stock paper using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Christmas Vault Series 2021.

Barbara created two projects using her favorite Santas by Tim Holtz: Sizzix Woodland Santa Thinlits DiesStampers Anonymous Jolly Santa Stamp Set. For her backgrounds she used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Lumberjack Set and Shifter Multi Stripes stencil together with Ranger Ink Distress Spray Festive Berries, Distress Mica Stain Holiday Set 1.

Cheiron created a card using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Jolly Santa set. She sprayed her background with Tattered Rose Distress Spray Stain and then stamped the images in Distress Oxides. She added splatter and a sentiment with an Idea-ology Christmas Label Sticker.

Emma was inspired by Santa’s grotto and she created a Vignette Shrine using many of the amazing new idea-ology products from Tim Holtz. She placed the gorgeous vintage Santa from the Christmas Layers set inside the shrine which was covered with Collage Tiles and Christmas Backdrops before surrounding him with Red and White Confections, tiny presents and Woodland Trees

Kath made Place Setting ornaments for her Christmas Day Dinner guests using Tim Holtz adorable Dash Away All die, a Cyber Monday surprise gift from Tim and Simon Says Stamp, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Paper Village and Village Thinlits, trees from Idea-ology Woodland Tree Lot and Bauble Findings.

Macarena altered a cardboard box transforming it into a Christmas gift box which she decorated with last year Tim Holtz Sizzix Jolly St. Nicks Colorize and Tree Line dies.

Maura has been busy making holiday cards, and is sharing some of her Santa cards she made. She used the Tim Holtz Stamptember 2021 and Cozy Christmas sets, Tim’s Black Soot Archival ink, distress oxide inks like Villainous Potion, and Simon Says Stamp Matte Gold Mirror paper.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media Christmas tag Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Jolly Santa and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Wood SlicesFestive Adornments and Christmas Remnant Rubs Tiny Text.

Sandra was inspired by the tiny Santa from the Holiday Postmarks stamp set, and used Distress Oxide Spray Speckled Egg and Hickory Smoke for the background. Along with the Snowflake stencil and Texture Paste

Zoey used a whole bunch of Tim Holtz Ideaology Items to decorate this tag! She used Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Mini Flair , Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS CHRISTMAS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology CHRISTMAS Layers. She also used Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps LEDGER SCRIPT and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps FADED TYPE to add texture to the background.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
