It’s Laura’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Laura made a Christmas sparkle shaker card. The background is made using Metallic Acrylic Paints and a Gel Press. She machine stitched some tulle and filled it with a mix of Sequins and Glitter. She used WOW Clear Hologram Sparkle Embossing Powder and Simon Says Stamp Santa’s Sleigh Ride Slider Clear Stamp Set for the focus.

Andrea thought Edgar Allan Poe deserved a bit of happy sparkly pizzazz. She used Stamping Bella’s Oddball Edgar Allan Poe stamp, Stampendous’s Snowflakes Embossing Powder Kit, some American Crafts Embossing pens and Simon’s own Scattered Stars stencil.

Anna-Karin made a sparkly Christmas card this week, using Stampendous Shaved Ice to create glittering snow. The stamp is Simon Says Stamp Night Before Christmas.

Barbara created a card using Stampendous Chunky White Powder ( from Stampendous Snowflakes Embossing Powder Kit) on the cute bear from Tim Holtz Sizzix Cozy Winter Thinlits die. She added a touch of sparkle using Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencil Speckles together with Snowfall Texture ( from Ranger Distress Holiday Texture set) and RangerDistress Dry Glitter Clear Rock Candy. To create texture on the trees she used Simon Says Cling Stamp Wood Planks.

Cheiron created a card using the Simon Says Stamp Sprinkle Snowglobe Embossing Folder and embossed the base of it with Stampendous Sparkle Puff Embossing Powder from the Snowflakes Kit. She added die cuts from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Darling Deer, Funky Nordic and Swirling Stars dies.

Emma used Tim Holtz’s Mica Flakes, Nightfall Glitter and Tinsel Glitter to add plenty of sparkle to her Christmas 2021 Vault Series Die Cuts that she layered onto a Mini Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Tag to create a festive scene full of layers and texture.

Kath created cards that sparkle as you turn them in the light using the fun technique of stamping into layers of molten embossing powders. She used Stampendous Snowflakes and Mermaid Sea Embossing Powder Kits, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Retro Flakes, inked with Ground Espresso Distress Archival ink and added Simon Says Reverse Merriest Christmas Sentiment Strips.

Lols  used a Stampendous House Mouse Ornament Sled Cling Stamp along with a Beach Embossing Powder Kit, a Carabelle Studio Constellation Stencil, Light and Fluffy Modeling Paste, Prisma Glitter and a Tim Holtz Small Chat Sentiment Sticker to make her fun sparkly Christmas card.

Macarena made a simple card with a winter landscape using Tim Holtz Sizzix dies: Alpine, Tree line and Merry Moose. She built the background using Tim Holtz Script stencil. She added a snow by using the Stampendous Beach embossing powder – Chunky White and gave a touch of sparkle with Distress Mika Flakes.

Maura added some sparkle to a notebook she made from a coffee cup, with Stampendous Shaved Ice, Tim Holtz Distress Holiday Mica Stain, and Kuretake Gansai Tambi Gem watercolors. It’s topped off with Stampendous’s Cocoa Gnome.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media Christmas tag using Stamperia Christmas Patchwork Clear Stamps and added the snow with Studio Katia Chunky Sparkle Glitters. The holiday sentiments were from Stampendous Clear Stamps Brushed Greetings and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Christmas Remnant Rubs.

Sandra made a sparkly Christmas card using Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze and the Sparkle stencil, and added even more glitz with the Sparks Mermaid Sparkle paint

Zoey used Stampendous AUTUMN FLING Embossing Powder Kit ek33 to decorate this tag. She also used Tim Holtz Sizzix SCRIBBLY SNOWFLAKES Thinlits Dies for the background.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
