Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Masculine Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to get inky with:

Sprays and Splashes

Sandra created a door hanger tribute to her mother. She startet with Distress Texture Paste and added Distress Spray Stain and Distress Oxide Spray to get the splash effects.To decorate the hanger she used some of her favorite Sets: Field NotesLayers Urban and Layering Stencils.

Andrea transformed a mini-notebook using several splashy favorites like Dina Wakley’s Turquoise Gloss Spray, Dylusions Fresh Lime Shimmer Spray and Infusions Sleight Blue. She added a sentiment using Dyan Reaveley’s Back Chat stickers.

Anna-Karin created an art journal page this week, made in Dina Wakley’s Blue Edition Media Journal. She sprayed and splashed with Dina’s Gloss Sprays. The butterflies were stamped with the SSS Comfort & Prayers set.

Barbara loves so much this theme! She created a journal to keep the samples of the techniques explained by Tim Holtz every Saturday! She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Glitch 2 setTim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencil TilesDistress Embossing Glaze Walnut Stainvarious Mini Distress ink padsTim Holtz Sizzix Heartbeat.

Cheiron created a colorful card using a panel with lots of sprays and splashes including Distress Spray Stains and Distress Paint in Picket Fence using the Tim Holtz Splatter Brush. She finished her card with some die cuts from the Sizzix Wildflower Stems 2 dies cut from Black Alcohol Ink Matte cardstock and finished her card with a Theories Quote Chip and some Hardware Heads.

With Father’s Day in mind, Emma created a panel for her Dad and used one of favourite Stampers Anonymous stamp sets from Tim Holtz ~ The Professor 2, together with Distress Spray Stains and Embossing Glazes to add texture, sprays and splashes to her background.

Kath used Distress Oxide Sprays and Distress Embossing Glazes with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mosaic Layering Stencil and Grunged stamp set to create the background on her card and decorated with Idea-ology Field Notes Ephemera and Theories Quote Chip

Macarena made a colorful tag with several techniques of using Distress Embossing Glazes. She stamped the background with Tim Holtz Dapper set and gave a texture with Tim Holtz Tiles stencil.

Maura added lots of splashes of color to her art journal pages with Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays in Lemon, Fuchsia, Lime and Ocean.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the vintage portrait from Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Found Relatives on the background and sprayed the tag using Ranger Mini Misters Spray Bottle and Ranger Inkssentials Pipette Dropper

Sandra used Distress Spray Stain Peeled PaintHickory Smoke and Walnut Stain and Distress Oxide Spray Walnut Stain and Peeled Paint to make splashes and splatters and create her background. She also sprayed Distress Resist Spray and foiled it with Pewter Glimmer Foil and a Heat tool.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Plain Collage Paper and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Typeset collage paper to decorate the background of this tag. A photobooth image was the perfect embellishments along with some Canvas Strip by Ranger and some Tim Holtz designer tape
