If you haven’t visited Bonnie’s blog then you are in for a real treat!! Please pop over to say ‘Hi’
Bonnie made a small mixed media panel using Tim Holtz Tattered Florals, Small Tattered Floral and Wildflowers 2 Dies. She used a variety of Distress Inks and Distress Oxide inks, Paper Dolls and Idea-ology Paperie products to celebrate the coming Spring flowers after the March rains, and as a metaphor for the hope of future joy to supplant sadness.
Andrea made a dark rainy cityscape that still inspires hope with a reassuring quote from Tim Holtz’s Theories stamp set. She also used Tim’s Halftone and Rings stamp set, his Remnants stamp set and his Cityscape Skyline dies.
Anna-Karin was inspired by a recent drive through a landscape covered in snow, and created an art journal page. She used a the Tim Holtz Snowflakes stencil to create the background and various stamps, such as from the Road Trip and Travel Ways sets to tell the story.
Barbara In Italy it snowed all week and so for this challenge she decided to fight all this white with lots of color! She created a card with Tim Holtz Distress ink pad, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Theories and Tim Holtz Mini stencil set 33.
Cathie created a Winter snow scene looking through a window using Tim Holtz Window & Window Box die along with the Snowglobe and Home for the Holidays die sets. The background was created using the Tim Holtz Snowflake stencil and Mini Swirly Snowflakes stamp set.
Emma‘s panel is all about finding joy, whatever the weather might be! She used many Tim Holtz products including a weather related Collectors Ephemera Layers piece, the Umbrella Man die, sprocket gears and completed the project with a Quote Chip.
Kath was inspired by the saying “Raining Cats and Dogs” to create an Art Journal page featuring Tim Holtz Crazy Cats and Dogs, Halftone and Rings and Alphanumeric Thinlits
Lols was inspired by all the snow engulfing the UK and parts of the USA at the moment and made a Christmas card using an array of Tim Holtz Products including Distress Oxide Inks, a Flurry Background Stamp, a Merry Christmas Die and a Santa with his reindeers from a Village Christmastime Die Set.
Macarena is missing the Spring time with its fresh colors so she made a colorful card using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks, Tim Holtz Leafy Stencil, Tim Holtz Sizzix Umbrella Man and Tim Holtz Sizzix Cityscape dies.
Maura made a tag using Tim Holtz’s The Storm stamp, Umbrella Man, and Sea Life stamps to celebrate dancing in the rain.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media art journal page using Daniel Smith Extra Fine Essential Watercolor Set on the background and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Stamp 2018 Theories.
Sandra had fun with this card, she used the umbrella man of the Sideshow stamp set that hold up his umbrella up for the Paper Dolls to keep them out of the rain that she added extra with the Degrade de Points stencil.
Zoey used Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Tiny Houses and Tim Holtz Distress Paint to create this little scene , she was inspired by one of her favorite quotes about clouds and dark times!
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

All Hail the Umbrella Man!!
Thank you for the new challenge – I have been watching some mixed media videos – I might give that a hand – love this work on this page – TFS have a blessed week
Should we place bets on how many Umbrella Men will show up this week??? Ha! I am stoked to be linking up the first day, but I must guiltily admit: though I usually make projects inspired by challenges, my card was made prior to it, but I hadn’t had time to even think about entering it… and there you are with your convenient weather challenge! :)
Great creations!!
I only realized after I linked that this is a bit stretch and I don’t see a delete trash can by my entry. The stamp is actually paint drips and I forgot that when I thought they would fit because I was thinking they were rain drops. Sorry!! Hugs, Darnell
Thank you for the challenge and wonderful inspirations xx
All the pieces of artwork are amazing! What a great design team!
