It is Stacy’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous creations over the past few weeks. It has been a pleasure to have you along with us!
Stacywas inspired by her grandmother’s love of both gardening and sewing. “In My Garden” was the perfect backdrop to decorate a Vignette Tray combining all of those loves, her grandmother, flowers and sewing. She used a Tim Holtz Illustrated Garden Stamp Set, an Ornate Trims Stamp Set along with many of the Distress Oxide Inks and products.
Andrea made a simple card using some fabulous products from 49 and Market. She started by cutting a piece of collaged paper that she had made using Washi tape strips and paint with Kaisercraft’s Lattice Die. She then used a Tim Holtz Flower Jar Die Set and added one of the flowers to the front of her card.
Anna-Karin needed a wedding card this week and made a white and cream textured card. Prima Isle Marina St Tropez flowers, together with leaves die cut with the Tim Holtz Garden Greens set, were placed around the heart shaker-box to frame it.
Barbara chose to create an Etcetera Tag size Small. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Floral 1, Tim Holtz stampers Anonymous Ornate Trims, Idea-ology Botanical Layers paperie and Tim Holtz Mini Stencil set 6.
Cathie created a wall hanging using the Tim Holtz Glorious Bouquet stamp and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. She used the Tim Holtz Bricked Stencil to create a garden wall for the background.
Emma is thinking ahead to the warmer days of spring and with this in mind, she created a home decor panel using some of the fabulous new Tim Holtz idea-ology products. On the background of her panel she used Botanical Collage Paper before adding layers which included Worn Wallpaper, a Collage Frame and one of the new characters in the Paper Dolls set.
Kath decorated a Etcetera Mini Tag with a collage of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Memoranda Paper and Sizzix Funky Floral 1 Thinlits flowers inspired by signs in her garden that Spring is just around the corner
Lols recently picked up a Dina Wakley Media Journal and couldn’t wait to dive right in and make a start with filling in the pages! She loves the bright colours of spring and summer and after spritzing and splattering the background with Tim Holtz Distress and Dyan Reaveley’s Ink Sprays she used the new Paper Artsy Jofy 61 stamp set combined with Zig Brush Pens to add a vibrant modern and funky design.
Macarena as a fan of Spring, made herself a home decor with Tim Holtz Etcetera Small Tag colored with Paper Artsy Infusions as her base. Her garden is full of Tim Holtz Sizzix Wildflowers colored with Distress Oxides and covered with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder.
Maura’s garden in winter is her art, so she headed to her Dina Wakley Media Journal along with the Stampendous Blossoming Woman stamps by Laurel Burch and the Bo Bunny Mandala Garden stencils to create her page. Jane Davenport’s Mermaid Markers and Paint Over Pens add splashes of color.
Meihsia was looking forward to spring and created a mixed media garden tag with a bird using Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Caged Bird and decorated with some beautiful flowers using Idea-Ology Botanical Paperie.
Sandra loves making botanical themed projects, this one is no exception. She started out by applying lots of washi tape and used Infusions and Distress Oxide to add some color and then used Tim Holtz Wildflowers and Garden Greens Thinlit Dies to finish.
Zoey used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Botanical Layers Paperie , Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Tiny Houses and a couple of Distress Paint to create this little house of dreams!
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
