Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Shimmer and Shine Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to add metal to your project. This can either be a metal charm, element, string or metallic embossing etc.

Heavy Metal 

you can use metal embellishments for example, charms, or metallic embossing powders, card stock, foils etc.

It is Carol’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous creations over the past few weeks! It has been a great pleasure having you along with us!

Carol went as metallic as possible in a monochromatic colorway, using Sizzix Stitched Rectangles and Cityscape Skyline Dies.  She also used Tim Holtz Gears Embossing Folder,  Regions Beyond StampSet  and lots of metallic papers to create this fabulously spooky Halloween card

Andrea bound her Halloween notebook with a metal coil and her Cinch machine.  She used Tim Holtz’s Artful Dwellings die for the house and Impression Obsessions’s Witch Line die for the witch-topped bookmark inside.

Anna-Karin made a Halloween tag this week, using lots of clear and metallic embossing powders. There are also metallic idea-ology embellishments, and metallic paint and alcohol ink.

Barbara created an Halloween  card with an heavy metal background! She used Ranger foil cardstock, Tim Holtz Sizzix Claw Marks, Tim Holtz Sizzix Lost Zombie and Tim Holtz Sizzix Textured Fades Diamond and Riveted metal.

Cathie added Prima Mechanicals Rustic Washers and Mini Knobs to her Autumn panel. The flowers are created using the Tammy Tutterow Frayed Posies die set.

Emma created a spooky clipboard to include in her Halloween decorations for this year. She used lots of metal elements including a metal foil tape panel embossed with the Riveted Metal Texture Fade, a Baroque frame and a mini pocket watch.

Kath added metallic touches to her traditional red and green Christmas card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Layered Tattered Poinsettia die cut from gold Metallic Kraft Stock and gold embossing using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Sparkles and Christmas

Lols made a Christmas tag using a Dear Santa Stamp and Stencil Dylusions Set along with Silver Metallic Card Silver String, Sparkle Dust, Deco Tape and a snowflake charm to add some heavy metal!

Macarena made a very embossed Xmas card using 3 metallic details: Mini Stars by Prima and the Tim Holtz Typed Token, she also spritzed the background with Metallique Blackberry Paint.

Maura transformed a peanut butter jar into a metallic steampunk brush jar using Memory Box Large Steampunk Pipes, Prima’s Emerald Green Metallique paint, and Fairy Wings Sparks, along with the Simon Says Stamp Stencil Ring Cluster.

Meihsia was inspired to create a Halloween mixed media tag using Idea-Ology Halloween Ephemera Pack, and colored with Distress Paints and Distress Ink Stain for the metallic effect.

Sandra  is hooked on making Halloween cards at the moment. She painted the collaged washi tape background with Black Soot Distress Paint and used Metallique and Opal Magic Wax for creating the heavy metal look.

Zoey used distress paint ,Tim Holtz Idea Ology Arrows and Tim Holtz Idea Ology Paper Dolls to decorate this ATC
