You’re My Best Friend
Hi readers! Happy Sunday to you! I’m pleased to have another card for you featuring the always inspiring Laurie Schmidlin, using some fabulous Paper Smooches stamps & dies!
Enjoy!
To create my card I started by layering on some patterned diagonal striped patterned paper. For the background, I stamped four of the sentiments from the Bosom Buddy set onto a coordinating piece of patterned paper (I chose one with a very subtle pattern so that the stamped sentiments would still be seen). For the focal image, I die cut the Big Friend die twice and then adhered them together so that the bottom layer was peeking out from under the top layer. I adhered the friend word to some vellum and then attached it to my card. For embellishment, I tied a simple bow and added some enamel dots.
Guess I have been living under a rock since I only started hearing about Paper Smooches in the Spring, from some of my YouTube friends !!!!! But OMG since, I see them everywhere and they are so adorable…. Great cards :)
any friend would love to receive this card it is wonderful.
