Hi readers! Happy Tuesday to you! I always look forward to our monthly features with Laura Bassen! This month, Laura is burning off those holiday calories with a super arm workout blending Simon Says Stamp exclusive ink colors: Duckling, Melon, Sunkist, Hot Lips, Doll Pink, and Hot Mama! To continue the celebration of DieCember™ she used two new dies from the You Have My Heart Collection, Nested Hearts, and On Edge Love You.

Don’t forget to watch the video, and enjoy!

  1. You’re so adorable, Laura. I really enjoyed listening to you rambling about your kids, life and chirstmas cookies!:))

  2. Ink blending has always been my weakness. I can’t understand how people get such gorgeously ink-blended look! This is a gorgeous card!

  3. Laura’s card is lovely. Without watching the video, I would have never guessed this was how it was assembled.

  4. Love, love, love and have just used the card for inspiration for a new baby card. Broke out my star nested dies and some blue distress ink and jobs a good ‘un. BTW what about some Wink of Stella on the raised parts??? Looks great on my stars.

    Thanks Laura

  5. This card is absolutely amazing! I love, LOVE, LOOOOVE it!!! :) Might have to spend that Simon Says Stamp gift card I got for Christmas for some new dies! ;)

  6. What a lovely card, Stephanie! Great idea to incorporate different sizes of the same die … fabulous end product. And thank you for the video … makes me feel like I can duplicate your process!

  7. Laura you are just the bees knees!!! I just crack up listening to you. Oh to have a craft day with you, I think I will put it on mu bucket list!!!! I know it will never happen but it should make you feel so loved just knowing it’s there!!! Loved the color blending. You are the master of color blending!!! The die cuts are adorable and anyone would love this card!!! Makes me want to go spend more money with SSS. Oh wait, I already did that over and over, and over, and over….well you get my drift!!! Thanks Laura!!!
