You Are So Sweet
Hi readers! Happy Thursday! I’m loving this yummy inspiration by Heather Campbell featuring Avery Elle Berry Good Stamps and Dies with metallic embellishing! Doesn’t the gold embossing just pop? The accent of gold washi tape just really finishes off the card in a great way!

Today’s card shares one of my favorite techniques – watercoloring heat embossed images. I love how gold lines make everything brighter and helps the colors “pop”. To accent the gold, I added a strip of gold washi tape along the side of the panel which helps to ground the images. This is a fun and simple design trick and helps tie everything together.
Instructions:
1. Stamp and heat emboss fruit, dots and sentiment with gold embossing powder.
2. Die cut fruit with coordinating die cuts.
3. Watercolor and let dry.
4. Trim cardstock panel, add strip of washi tape and adhere panel to card base with dimensional foam.
5. Adhere fruit with dimensional adhesive and accent with sequins.

I was never interested in the up-coming fruit design stamps until now. This card is so pretty…just WOW. The gold embossing really makes the card along with the watercoloring. Love it. Think I will purchase this stamp set.
Stunning card! I love the soft, watery colors and the gold embossing. That washi tape might make me set aside my personal embargo on buying any more washi tape. I seem to use it just for temporarily adhering stencils and dies, but that metallic tape would get some major use as a design element.
