WPlus9 Watercolored Anemones! Graphic Background Stamping

Happy Friday everyone! I’m here today to share a fun, fresh and graphic card made using products from WPlus9 – one of our favorite companies! WPlus9 makes some of the prettiest flower stamps out there and for my card I’m using the Watercolored Anemones stamps and dies to make a lovely Summer bouquet. I’m also using the ultra cool and graphic That is All stamp set to make my own background paper.

I always love the color combination of black and yellow and I was inspired by those colors today. There are a lot of really nice word/text background papers on the market, and they also inspired me. I created my own background layer to match the birthday sentiment on the front of the card using Intense Black Ink and crisp white paper.

It was super simple to stamp the background paper since these are clear stamps. I could very easily line up the word ‘wishes’ and stamp it several times. After I stamped the words I went back and added a few little hearts too.

The Watercolored Anemones stamp set has one big cluster of flowers and then individual flowers too. I stamped the cluster in green ink onto the card layer. Then I stamped and die cut out all the individual flowers and leaves. Once they were cut out, I layered them over the cluster image for perfect placement.

Don’t you love the look of mixed fonts? This is so cheerful! Again, I added another little heart!

This is a relatively flat card – easy to mail! And,  you could really make this layout using any color combination and it would turn out great!

  1. I really like this card. I also really like the color combination. So striking and vibrant. Thanks so much for the great design ideas.

  2. This layout/idea is so transferrable to other stamps. I’m so going to use it with some other sentiments and keep the same colors. Thanks,

  3. Wanda, I am totally inspired with your colorful floral arrangement and stamped background paper. The mixed font sentiments are delightful.

  4. That is SO pretty! I can see doing a set in many colors but I LOVE that yellow combo! Great idea for the background!

  5. Oh I love the background paper you made with the wishes stamp and the little hearts! Those luscious yellows really pop against the black and white, too. Great card Wanda!
