What’s Your Favorite?

This week on the  Wednesday Challenge we have a super fun theme. We would like to know what is your Favorite Technique and/or Product.

There are so many cool techniques to try: stenciling is one of my favorites and I also love spritzing and splattering. I think I particularly like those because you are never totally sure what it will look like before you finish. Then there is watercoloring, paper piecing, distressing, die cutting, dry embossing, heat embossing, using texture paste, there are so many options to choose from.

It is difficult to choose just one Favorite Product but I think it would have to be a Die Cutting Tool, where would we be without one of those! I rarely make a card without at least one die cut.

Once you have made your creation just go ahead and upload it into the linky on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog!  We can’t wait to see what you make and see what YOUR favorites are!

We are showcasing RANGER Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

As always, we’re offering a chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to Simon Says Stamp! (If you enter in this weeks Wednesday Challenge, you’ll have a chance to win!)

  1. Those cards are all such fun. The colors and designs are so creative. Thanks for sharing the ideas.

  2. Love the cards, they look like so much fun. I really like the background on the roller coaster ride, its beautiful. Thanks for the chance ti win!

  3. Oh I’m not sure I could chose a favourite technique. Stamping, die cutting, inking the edge of everything. Actually I’d say inking the edge of everything but I’m not sure you would think it would count ( if it’s going to be glued down then it needs to be inked!). I follow the blog by email.

  4. favorite technique..well stamping and water coloring..and making the background with watercolor too..also love to use stencil with that…
    great cards!

  5. Gorgeous cards and what a great challenge theme! I think my favorite techniques are stenciling and and using texture paste, but I also love all kinds of inking from distress inking to painting with acrylics! Oh I just can’t choose one! Thank you for always being inspiring & challenging!

  6. Love the 3 of them, it’s hard to chose, each one uses one of my favorite technique or product. I love stencils, distress inks, texture paste, spritz and splash, watercoloring, stamping. In fact, it looks like I love everything, hahaha! ho could blame me, crafting is so much fun.

  7. My favorite technique is watercolor. Love it’s fluid and sometimes random flow of color and I also love using dies!

  8. This is a tough one because I just enjoy crafting so I have lots of favorites. I suppose my favorite at the moment would be water coloring. Wonderful inspiration from the design team. Works of art!

  9. Beautiful inspiration! The clean card from Jennifer is gorgeous. I love her ink blending, it’s also one of my favorite technique.

  10. I love to use embossing, either dry or wet. I also love smooshing to make an abstract watercolor background. Thanks for the inspiration cards!

  11. Stenciling is my favorite technique and my favorite product is Tim Holtz’ mini distress stamp pads

  12. Love all these cards, so different and beautiful – I love all the different techniques and products they show.

  13. I like all the cards but Teresa’s card just speaks to my style of card making. Thanks for all inspiration.

  14. Great card ideas and my favorite technique is die cutting . I too use die cuts all the time and love all the new wonderful dies that keep coming out.

  15. I definitely love to emboss! That was the technique that lured me into stamping and it still remains a favorite. I also love watercoloring and die cutting!

  16. I am learning how to water color. I love it . All these cards are super for sure. Hard to choose one as a favorite. TFS

  17. Right now, my favs are distress inks / watercolor backgrounds, but tomorrow, who knows. I like to try everything. Some day I may find my niche, but after 50 years, it’s doubtful I’ll ever settle on one thing….

  18. I love all the cards you show and make. My favorite technique has to be making shaker cards ! They’re just so much fun and the shaker sequins and materials inside the shaker window just makes the card that much more special. I really can’t make enough shaker cards.
