This is a month of birthdays for us, so lots of cards! Oh, and I just thought of another one I need to add to my list and one I forgot last week! Oh, no! Gotta get stampin’! After I hop a little first!
I worked on a last minute Birthday card for my daughter last night and I am starting to work on Christmas for my first craft sale!
I’m stamping cards to cheer up my brother-in-law who is going through chemo and radiation, and also for my sister, his caregiver and holder of the fort. Halloween is probably my favorite stamping holiday, so I just got a start on my Halloween cards!
I made some wedding, birthday, and christmas cards.
. . . playing with some new dies I recently purchased from Simon Says Stamps. . . .a couple of word dies and the lattice die. . . .love it!

I recieved some beautiful Lawn Fawn stamps and diees yesterday which was so nice since I had spent the day at the hospital with my six year old son who had an operation. I am hoping to get a chance to play with them. I love the new Tim Holtz stamps. Love the ice cream one. I make home made ice cream and this would be perfect to label the container to give to friends.

I’ve just started out with card making , and my very first order arrived perfectly on time from SSS for me to make my very first card the night before, for my baby girls very first day of school in junior kindergarten , I used the card kit and a few of the other goodies I ordered and made her a card with books on it that said your perfect in my book , true story and a little apple and a love you note and put it in her lunch bag , she was very happy about her card :) and I think it helped having a message from mommy in the middle of the day , as it was a very tough and tearful day for us both :( thanks simon says! I have been busy with my sss card kit, buying Lawn Fawn stamps and dies and getting into Christmas with Memory Box dies. I am working on making my twin grandchildren Halloween treats for their first grade using the Lawn Fawn gift box die. It is so quite.
Just made a card for a friend who is turning 50. Need to start working on Christmas cards! Then there is Halloween and Thanksgiving… The next few months are going to be busy!

Awesome stamps from Tim! My daughter turns 25 this month, I will be doing some fun stamping for her. She will be getting some MFT greeting cards from me and her 2 year old baby and I have done some fun stamping for a special note pad. It’s so sweet when our baby says to me, I want to stamp Nana! Happy Stamptember!

Tonight I stamped my own background with Stazon ink and colored it in with Distress inks/markers. I also did a little watercoloring with liquid pearls too.

Beleive it or not, but I have been making Christmas cards, gift sacks, matchbox boxes, Christmas gift tags and bookmarks for my church’s upcoming baazar in November. Then I will be stamping my Halloween projects and back to Christmas for my personal projects.
Well to be honest I am just getting back into the art of card making again. I had a little break and lately I have been itching to get back at it. So recently I had a friend who found out she had a form of skin cancer, and I wanted to do something special for her to cheer her up. So I am working on some encouragement/ Thinking of you cards. Also, I purchased a Heidi Swapp ” Thanksgiving Album Kit” earlier this year and I am about to get that up and running. So yes, I am looking forward to having some more me time. Love Tim’s stamp set for this big event. Love how funny he is in this video. Didn’t realize how much of a jokester he can be. Love the intro and closing of his video. Thanks.

I’m working on thank you cards. I just had a total hysterectomy due to uterine cancer and I have had so many people help me over the last few weeks. I know and hand made, stamped and colored card will be a perfect way to say thank you. And knowing the surgery got all the cancer and I’m CANCER FREE now is an added bonus!
I have been busy making fall and halloween cards. I am looking forward to playing with my Stamptember purchases.
