Happy Holidays Card (Tim Holtz Holiday 2013 Card Kit)
Hi all! Today I have a card I made using the Tim Holtz Holiday 2013 Card Kit that was just announced last week! Lots and LOTS of supplies in this kit, and I barely made a dent in it! There’s that much!
I decided to take a cue from Tim and create a tag first, and then put it on top of one of the notecards that comes in the kit. I used two of the Distress Ink pads from the kit and the stamp set on the tag. I also used lines of Glossy Accents covered in Distress Glitter along the bottom of the tag.
For the envelope, I stamped the snowflakes from the stamp set in Walnut Stain ink across the bottom left corner. Super fast and easy way to decorate an envelope. :)
You can get the kit with clear stamps HERE, or the kit with cling stamps HERE.
Anyhow, enjoy!
LOVE what you created with the kit, Kristina!
Love your card! Thank you for showing us how to use tim’s stuff for a less grungy look. I love his stuff, but need ideas on how to use it. Thanks again.

Beautifully done Kristina! Love the embossed sentiment!
Wow beautiful love it.
Lovely card. So looking forward to receiving this kit.
It loks just soo gorgeous Kristina, I so love the vintage look for it, just awesome.
Fabulous card and envelope Kristina. Love the touch of red on the tag and the snowflakes on the envelope. I think I’d better start putting these seasonal distress inks (that I purchased a good while ago) to good use on some Christmas tags/cards. It’s a good thing I ordered a good supply of manila tags last week…
Great card Kristina! The embossing looks so great on those distress colors!
I do love Tim and think he is quite the artistic genius, but grunge is not my style either. So glad you showed us some work with his products that isn’t necessarily his same style. Thanks for sharing!
wow wee this is stunning.. love Tim Holtz products..
WOW – Love this what a great vintage look!
Thanks for showing us how to modify the grunge style. The way you did it really appeals to me. Your tag, card and envelope are very striking. The glitter and embossing look fabulous.
I think this is the perfect grunge look! Not too much, not too little, but just right!!! this looks like a great kit!
Love ths card. I will order the kit. You did a great job both in card design and explanation. Thank you Marie Campagna
Love your card, Kristina and can’t to see what else you make with this great kit!
This looks wonderful…Love the matching envelope!
Awesome Christmas kit!!!!
For a gal who doesn’t favor the grunge/distressed style you sure are good at it! Great card!
What a great card! I love how you used the products.
Great card and envelope! I am a big Tim Holtz fan, and work a lot more like you do so my use of his products are less “grungy” most times. I really love the colors he has in his line. I would love if he could do a kit next time with some new products for a lot of the stuff in this kit are stuff I own already or I would have jumped on it. Love that SSS has made such a variety of looks in their kits. I am anxiously waiting for my Nov. Card Kit.
Kristina, I too am not a huge TH fan look but, what you did was beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
Very pretty card. It reminds me of an old fashion Christmas with those colors. Looks like a fun kit to play with.
Love it! So fun to watch you create this. Thank you!
