This Day is Totally Awesome!
Hi readers! Happy Tuesday! Today we’re here with Kristina Proffitt and another glimpse into her pocket scrapbooking for Summer. I absolutely love the personal touches she adds to her scrapbook pages like this adorable drawing from her kiddos. Keep scrolling to check out more details.
Enjoy!
With Summer right around the corner, I am loving adding pops of color to my Project Life pages. Although my pages are usually light on the embellishments (I’m a pretty simple scrapbooker) it’s so much fun to add bright colors to my pages. That’s exactly what I did for this spread using some summery paper from American Crafts and Amy Tangerine’s Plus One mini kit. Love the pop of color and then the bold black that you see here and there. It’s just the right balance without being too much, I think. I know I’ll be ready with lots of versatile products for all of the Summertime photos I’ll have! ;)

I am on the fence about pocket scrap booking, I like what I see as far as designers and page kits….but don’t know if I have the dedication.
Oohhh this is really amazing thanks for sharing.
Very cute and I like the addition of the child’s drawing.
I just love PL! It’s so wonderful to look through old albums and remember these moments of real life :)
Haven’t been a fan of this type of scrapbooking, but it’s growing on me! TFS!
Just love these, you make it look so easy!!!!
So cute. I still have to get stuck into my book. Love the pictures.
Since seeing pocket scrapbooking I have leaned more and more this way. I have too many photo’s to do single page layouts all the time so I have started to blend them together.
super fun PL!
This is so fun!
Very cool! Love how you stapled the pictures and stamped the dates, and sketched! Great job. Thanks for sharing.

I love the look of all of this! Put together so well – thanks!
I am really getting in to the pocket style of scrapbooking . I already follow by email.
those are so cute and I love to get your email’s :) hugs Nikki
Love the troll and the child’s handwriting. Any time I look back at my children’s writing I am reminded how precious it is. The baby pictures are precious too. Thank’s for sharing with us.
I love looking at what other designers do, they look wonderful
I recognize those dolls in the one photo that Caylin has called “zelfs”. They were around when I was younger too but were called something different. Anyone remember those?
Apparently, these Zelfs are rebranded Trolls. ;-)
Great layouts and photos. I love the pocket where she shared her daughter’s first purse.
This is very cute and I love the kids’ artwork!
I love how simple and yet still very cute this pocket style of scrapbooking is!
This is the way to go for busy lifestyles…thank you!
What a great way to keep the memory of a child’s artwork, without the volume. Thanks for the inspiration.
Very nicely put together. Just sweet!
Cute pocket pages, love the details!
Great layouts!
adorable!
FUN & FABULOUS pocket pages Kristina :)
I LOVE how you are CHERISHING the RANDOM, EVERYDAY MOMENTS and turning them in to SPECIAL MEMORIES!!! These are the things I miss most as I get older and my memory gets worse. My advice to everyone is to photograph something EVERY DAY and JOURNAL about it too. You will look back on them with a BIG SMILE and your families will too, for generations to come!!!
Fabulous pages – how clever!
Awesome pages Kristina, sooo beautiful.
Great pages. I’m still undecided if I should try pocket scrapbooking. I’m not a scrapbooker but I have lots of pictures I need to get out of their boxes so I will actually look at them every now and then…
Thanks for letting us have a peek into your album!
What a treasure being created here – love how the focus is totally on the kids.
Thanks for showing such a cute and happy scrap page
Gorgeous PL!
Awesome project life ideas and layout!!!
I just started pocket scrapbooking and I love it. It’s so much easier to work with one pocket at a time and see your layout come together. I love the elements on your page! Thanks for sharing :)
Great layout
I love pocket scrap booking. Each little square is a work of art. Great job Kristina!
The snail is so ADORABLE, really cute layout!
Well your pocket scrapbook is totally awesome! I really want to do something like this!
Fantastic pages. Love the addition of the kids art.
I’m still not sold on pocket scrapping. Creating the page is a big part of preserving the memories for me. However, her pages are wonderful! The little one’s smile touched my heart – that is a moment to remember.
Cute kids! And great pages!
Lovely! If I could stop obsessing over cards I might try this…. sigh….. someday………
Love the bright, colorful patterns.
I love adding little pieces of artwork, this really makes me want to get back into PL!!
