Additional information about the challenge:

Kathy from The Daily Marker is hosting her fourth coloring challenge called, “The Daily Marker 30 Day” it’s a super fun challenge and a great way to get full use of your supplies.

(When sharing use #TheDailyMarker30Day so Kathy can find your work)

THE GOAL IS: To color something daily even if it’s a few minutes but, certainly not required. It’s been proven that coloring can lower your blood pressure so it’s worth carving out a little time for yourself each day. You will find that Kathy encourages you along the way to stretch your creativity a little bit more and to feel successful with your coloring.

CAN YOU PARTICIPATE in the 30 DAY CHALLENGE? Yes! that would be awesome if you want to participate & feel free to jump in at any time during February! Everyone is welcome! If you miss a few days don’t feel like you have to catch up. The challenge is meant to be fun and with no stress.
WHAT’S NEW THIS TIME? Kathy will have a weekly feature that she will be sharing on her blog that showcases some of your work every Sunday.

Read more on Kathy’s blog, “The Daily Marker” to see how to share you work and if you have questions, how to share, giveaways etc. Prepare to be inspired with daily posts and many videos for 30 days.

  1. I have tried out several products and techniques in the hope of being successful at masking. I have been disappointed at the results, and have moved on to other watercoloring techniques that hold more interest and excitement for me. Regardless, I did watch the video, and I say thank you.

  2. Kathy is always so generous in sharing her coloring and techniques with her fans. How will we ever thank her enough?

  3. hey there.. thanks to kathy racoosin for taking the time and efforts to help us color:) it is a relaxing and super way to unite with friends! …and share the talent! thanks to everyone who made this awesome blog hop possible… keep carding on;)

  4. Love the coloring challenge… I think it was during the second one when I “found” this hobby and all of the talented crafters in this wonderful community of artists and paper crafters!! Simon Says Stamp has been my “go to” shop for supplies. THANK YOU for always having exactly what we need.

  5. Kathy is an Amazing Card Artist! I try to play in every 30 day color challenge, when possible, between grand baby day care. LOL She is so sweet and generous too. Thanks SSS!

  6. I am not a colorist (yet) but have just purchased my first set of markers. I plan to try the 30 challenge of doing a little each day, with hopes of noticeable improvement at the end.

  7. My most successful coloring is with Prisma pencils and I use Gamsol for shading. I don’t own copics and so far am not going to start buying them. I am happy with my results and continue to add more shading by adding more pencil color. Thanks for sharing

  8. Thanks Kathy. Love the contrast you created between the focal point and background. It really makes the image pop. Thanks for sharing.

  9. SSS, thanks for participating in this incredible event….you are always there when we need you. Kathy is not only a generous woman but she is also one heck of a talented colorist!
