Hi readers! Happy THURSDAY! Another week is flying by, and while we’re at it, where did June go? My goodness! We’re back this month with another blended beauty from the fantastic Laura Bassen! Her videos always make me smile!! How did she make this card? You may not have guessed that it was with the newly released (from The Color of Fun collection) Game Tile dies, Press ‘n Seal, and of course beautifully blended Simon inks! The sentiment is from the More Sketchy Banner Greetings stamp set!

Enjoy!

  1. Love the tutorial video….oh my what a delightful wat to start my day. The rainbow blending is superb. So glad to have a really good use for ‘Press ‘n Seal!

  2. Laura, Beautiful card, thanks for sharing and the video. I purchased the game tile die AND stamp set a couple weeks back when it first came out and I couldn’t figure out how I was going to use it yet, so thanks for the idea and hope you don’t mind if I copy you. Thanks.

  3. That Laura Bassen, so versatile, so fun, so creative! And a hoot to boot, what more could you ask for while you’re crafting? LOL And I love that she does her “many colors” and “ink blending”, but her cards never feel the same. You know what I mean? Amazing!

  4. Gorgeous! I love Laura’s videos – she always makes me smile! Her creativity amazes me – this is beautiful! I don’t think I have any Press n Seal so I’ll have to add it to my list – thank you!

  5. I love Laura’s videos and I absolutely adore this card… really EASY PEASY with the press and seal.

  6. WOW! I absolutely loved the video tutorial! Laura is so adorable. I am now going to give this a try with some of my dies and use the Press N Seal. Thanks for the inspiration, Laura! :D

  7. Beautiful card. I have used Press & Seal in the kitchen for a while but now you’re telling me I need it in my craft room? I guess I’ll be stealing it from the kitchen. Thanks for sharing.

  8. What a great card Laura! You sure come up with some original ideas. Love the ink blending, and your great tips on the press n seal! TFS

  9. This is a striking card. I appreciate the video showing us how you accomplished this design. Go Press ‘N Seal.

  10. Jennifer’s husband really invented press n seal?? wow, no wonder she can afford to buy a million stamp and die sets and each of her little kids their own misti and go on wonderful island vacations.

    1. I always wondered what her husband did for a living (curious for the same reason).
I thought he was a lawyer or something that is well paying. Now I know. I’ve never used
it very much, but I think Thermo-Heat-Wraps are fabulous!

  11. Fabulous card, Laura. Thanks for such a fun video- you are a hoot. I admire your perseverance putting this card together. Didn’t know about Press ‘n Seal & now I do. You go, girl!

  12. Oh my stars Laura Bassen makes me giggle! She has such an infectious personality. I just love this card. I never thought to use press n seal for crafting (what an awesome idea). I have always used it for other things, I always have a box in my kitchen! Thanks for the great card.

  13. How have I missed press’n seal? What a cool trick. Love the graphic look of this card and all the yummy colors.

  14. Ha, ha. Best video I’ve watched all week :) I did not know Jennifer’s husband invented press n’ seal..what a guy. The hospital recommended this to me after I had surgery on my knee so I could take a shower; just wrap up the area with press ‘n seal and shower away. Worked great. Your technique is wonderful using this stuff. Can’t wait to tell my friends. Thanks. Your blending is just great.
