Studio Monday with Nina-Marie: Ink Blending Over Hot Foil
Hey there friends, its Nina-Marie here with you, sharing a hot foiled project I made with our Simon exclusive hot foil plates!
This slimline card features the Peony and Sketched Leaf hot foil plates and dies. To get the best foiled results, I used White Glossy Cardstock from Simon, which provides a super-crisp finish. I ink blended over the foil using Pawsitively Saturated Inks (foil resists most ink you put over top of it).
To finish the card, I added some pretty sequins and a greeting from our Birthday Sentiments set. Be sure to watch the video to see how I made this card!
This is a beautiful card. I loved how you constructed it. You, also, answered my question as was going to purchase some of Simon’s glossy, black cardstock to do some foiling and thought it would work. You got great foiling with the white. Thank you.
