Studio Monday with Nina-Marie: Doodlebug Halloween Envelope!

Studio Monday with Nina-Marie

Hello crafters, its Nina-Marie here with you today featuring the Doodlebug Candy Carnival Halloween collection!

I don’t know about you, but I love decorating envelopes and I thought that would be a fun way to use this super-sweet collection of products! However, if you are more of a card-person, you could totally use this same design as a card instead!

Want to see how I made this fun envelope? We’ll be working on masking, ink blending and Copic coloring throughout the video to create this scene and I’m excited to share the process with you! Press play below and let’s get started!

  1. here is something funny. when i was little, I was scared to death of cotton candy. I would scream is I saw it. So this is a perfect Halloween/scary card for me :)

  2. Wow!! I love this super spooky Halloween envelope!! I retired from the Post Office and we used to see decorated envelopes. We would all pass it around to admire the art before we sorted it. Now I’m one of the ones decorating!!!

  3. Just saw that blog candy winners’ names have been added to this post… Did you also announce the winners for those blog posts a little before Stamptember began? I couldn’t find them!

  4. The witch girl is just too cute for Halloween. Very beautiful coloring ! And THANKS so much for making me one of today’s winners ! :-)

  5. With other machine-determined restrictions on envelopes, it’s great to see that decorated envelopes are good to go. I suppose as long as the stamp and the addressee is visible there should be no issue. Machines, even those at the Post Office, can’t interpret art.

  6. Adorable!! I rarely ever take the time to do any decorating on my envelopes, and NEVER anything like this! Amazing!
