Stitched Cacti Hugs – Adding Depth to Images
Hi friends! Happy Wednesday!! Please welcome special guest Channin Pelletier on our blog today representing the awesome folks at Waffle Flower Crafts! I adore these stitched stamps and the pops of gradient stamping to add depth makes for such a neat pop in the design! Be sure to read on and watch the video for more information! Enjoy!
Hello everyone! It’s Channin here and I am extremely excited to be here with you all at the Simon Says Stamp blog sharing a card I made with Waffle Flower Crafts’ newest products!
In this spring release, Waffle Flower has four cross-stitch inspired layering stamp sets that are seriously the bees knees! I have been having so so much fun playing with these stamp sets, they are just so fun to create with!
In my video I showcase my personal favorite out of all the cross-stitched sets, the Stitched Cacti Stamp Set. I will also feature the gorgeous new Patched Layers Die set as well! These dies are so cool because they add a beautiful blanket stitched border to your card panels which works perfectly with the new stitched stamp sets!
WATCH THE VIDEO:
I will also demonstrate an amazing trick I learned that will help you to position your layering stamps perfectly and I will also demonstrate how I add depth to the stitched images with shading!

Very cute.
Oh my goodness! Loved this so much that I had to order it!
Love your technique of lining up the acetate on top of the stamped image. I have difficulty with layering stamps but I will give this technique a try. Maybe I’ll be successful with layered stamps using this technique.
Such a cute card!! Love it!
This is such a neat look! Very creative new product.
great tips Channin! I am ready to take all my stamps off their acetate, if you use them enough they are going to fall off anyways.
the tip to use the print on the acetate to line the stamps up is a game changer in these layering stamps,so clever
