Stencil It On Wednesday!

This week on the Wednesday Challenge we are getting creative with stencils! Stenciling is one of my favorite techniques, there are so many ways you can use them and I particularly love the textures you can create with the various art mediums available, from gels to paste, sand and inks. You can create so many different looks with a single stencil and as they are relatively inexpensive they are a great buy! If you don’t have a stencil you can also make your own, the main thing is to join in and have fun!

We are showcasing Stencil Girl Stencils this week. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge, but if you have them we would love to see them used!

Once you have made your creation just go ahead and upload it into the linky on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog!  We can’t wait to see what you make!

As always, we’re offering a chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to Simon Says Stamp!  All YOU need to do is join in with the challenge!

Below are three projects created by the design team, that showcase this weeks theme! You can visit the challenge blog  to get all the details and see the amazing cards and projects that the design team has created this week. 1. WOW – very impressive – beautiful and cool cards made with stencils!! In love with the first one – the yellow and white card!!! It is stunning!!

  2. I love all of the cards, but I’m especially excited to see Jennifer’s! I love how you used about half of the stencil! The yellow is gorgeous! I get the feeling of a sunrise, a brand new beginning for a couple’s new life together!

  3. Oh WOW! These are all gorgeous! I really need to get some stencils! (You folks are enablers! LOL)

  4. I have some stencils but haven’t even used them yet so these beautiful cards and the challenge might give me the push I need!

  5. Great cards! Love how everyone is using a stencil, but all the projects turned out so different!

  6. Lovely samples. I used a Winnie & Walter stamp set for my Mother’s Day card – the small sentiments in the phrase sets work so well.

  7. I love stencils and think I got almost as many as I have stamps…so it is great to see more beautiful inspiration with them!
