STAMPtember® with Ali Edwards!

blog-banner-aliedwards

We are so excited to welcome Ali Edwards to the blog today to share a layout she created about her sweet daughter Anna. Ali has an amazing way of preserving her memories through photos and words and this layout takes us through her creative process. Enjoy!

A step by step of Ali’s creative process:

1. Print a photo to 12 inches x 12 inches. I selected one that had “white space” along the bottom that could create a home for my large letter stamps.
2. Use Staz On ink to stamp out your sentiments.
3. Add white letter stickers if you have a bit of blank space (I did after stamping “love the way you…”).
4. Hand-drawn a few lines and words.
5. Add a strip of washi tape along the bottom edge.

6. Add embellishments. I added a circle tag with writing around the outside, a bight yellow arrow sticker, and I cut a circle sticker in half to adhere along the bottom of the page.

  1. Most of the time I use sentiments that come in a set and forget that it´s so easy to make them myself… Thanks for the reminder! Inky greetings, Gerrina

  2. “catching” children at play is so special. love the lettering and how you made all the “love” red!

  3. LOVE Ali and everything she does!!! The journaling/stamping and journaling makes this page look SO simple and easy – yet it would have taken me a whole day to come up with it!!! LOL I very much admire Ali, and her children are VERY lucky to have her as a mom – they and THEIR children and THEIR children…they are all going to have SO many beautiful books of photos with wonderful journaling…her grandchildren will be able to run their fingers over her handwriting. That is just so awesome.

  4. I never scrap huge photos because I never know how to title it or embellish it! I want that stamp set! That layout came out so fun looking!
