Stamplistic Sunshine with Shari Carroll
Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday. I hope you’re finding a little bit of time for some crafting today!
I’ve just discovered a very unique stamp and layering die set that I think you’ll like. This Sunshine stamp comes from Stamplistic. It has two different dies that coordinates with it. One is a single detail die that cuts out areas within the image. The other is a set of 9 layering dies that cuts pieces that can be stacked back together.
I chose to use the Sunshine stamp with the layering dies, where I’ve silver embossed the stamp image 3 times onto watercolor cardstock. I cut out my layers to where I had an outside, center and then the detail of the sun.
To color my pieces, I used Tim Holtz Oxide inks in Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain, Iced Spruce, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers. After applying the ink, I spritzed with a bit of water to get an aged spotty look.

Wow, what a stunning card using a stunning layering die & stamp set. This is really pretty – I love it! I just took a quick peek at the Stamplistic dies & stamps and there are several I’d sure love to have in my stash.
This SUNSHINE likes the Sun card with wonderful layers for dimension.

I love love love this card! Beautiful! I had to go look for the stamps and dies–no link at the bottom for this set. Glad SSS carries them; goodness…sort of pricey for the dies! But I love this set- it’s beautiful!
