Spreading Holiday Joy

Hi readers! It’s getting close to that time of year where we all send out Holiday cards to our friends & family.  It’s so fun to receive lots of different kinds of cards, but sometimes when sitting down to MAKE the cards you’ll be sending out it can be a bit daunting! There are ways to make it easier!  The highlight of these cards is this lovely collaboration between Clearly Besotted & Simon Says Stamp!

I’m excited to share this fun design made by Stephanie Wincott with you today, along with some tips and tricks below on mass producing!

  • Keep it simple, the simpler the better

  • Keep embellishments to a minimum to keep shipping costs down – one layer cards are best

  • Easy way to add variety is by just changing the colour scheme, or by using a variety of sentiments

  • Have a conveyor belt type system in place – completing one element completely at a time (i.e. cutting card down to size, then stamping, then adding embellishments etc.)

  1. Love these quick and simply beautiful cards. Fantastic tips that I will have to remember!! I follow your blog via email and can’t thank you enough for the great and inspirational ideas!!

  2. What beautiful cards! I especially love the dark inks on the kraft cardstock! I will definitely have to check out this stamp set!

  3. These are very pretty and simple. The conveyor belt system is a great idea. I personally won’t use it because I never duplicate any of the cards I make. I love the challenge of creating something different with each card. Looking forward to more great holiday inspiration!
