Share the Love Week with Winnie & Walter!
This past week, Winnie and Walter has been Sharing the Love: featuring projects and challenges using Simon Says Stamp product as well as their own! There have been color challenges, 10 minute dash challenges, and one-layer card challenges! To complete the week, they are featuring a sketch challenge today and I decided to play along and share the love too! ;)
Simon brand products work so well with Winnie and Walter stamps and I had such a fun time using the sketch below to design my card. I paired some of their great sentiment stamps with the Simon Says Stamp Balloon and Patterns stencils and the end result was a bright, bold engagement card!
To create the card, I first stamped my sentiment in black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. This allowed me to stencil the ink for the balloons directly over top of the sentiment without smearing anything or making the black ink look muted.
Once I had the balloons completed, I used a black pen to add in the balloon strings and I added a couple of hearts to the bottom balloon for some added detail. I heat embossed one of them with Liquid Platinum embossing powder and inked the other with the same Picked Raspberry distress ink that I used on the other balloon.
To finish the card, I added a bit of glitter around the outside of each balloon and stamped some of the circles, dots and stars from the Winnie and Walter Big Bang Confetti stamp set around the balloons.
Make sure to stop by the Winnie and Walter blog today as well, to see what their amazing team did with the sketch and a chance to win a gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!
A huge thank you to Winnie and Walter for Sharing the Love with Simon Says Stamp this week!

Very cute card. I like your technique of stamping the balloons over the sentiment, it looks super. Thanks for sharing.
Super cute Stephanie!!
I like how you heat embossed the sentiment first to keep the color from being muted. That is a great idea, I will have to remember that to try myself.
