Season’s Tweetings from Lawn Fawn!
Hi bloggers! Happy Saturday to you! I’m always so pleased to bring you fun inspiration from Lawn Fawn‘s super sweet & equally talented President, Kelly Alvarez! If you’re working on a tight time line, this sweet card is perfect for duplicating at a relatively swift pace! Sit back and enjoy a “how to” from the designer herself :)
Hello, everyone! It’s truth-telling time. Are you guys behind on Holiday cards? I know I am. Eek! There isn’t a lot of time left, so I decided to rely on my dies to help me make a quick but cute card! I used Lawn Fawn’s Say Cheese die to create a cute frame out of Peace Joy Love paper. I then stamped the branches from Ornate Ornaments across some light blue Peace Joy Love patterned paper and stamped the snow background builder from Let it Snow on top of it all in white to give a snowy scene feel!
I colored my Winter Sparrows with Copics and a little clear glitter pen and then used the coordinating dies. I just love dies that coordinate with stamps! I was then able to assemble my card pretty quickly with the help of the dies. That’s why I love dies! They make it easier to create which means I can make more cards! Woohoo for dies and Die-Cember™!

I love the sentiment! I have always been a fan of playing with words in a sentiment and this one is perfect. Such a cute card. Thanks for sharing. I think I finally have enough cards for this year but last weekend I was still 15 cards short so I will be starting in January 2014 to make cards for next year.

Those birdies are SO tweet…something about their closed eyes… I agree with Kelly, dies to match your stamps are SO useful, esp when you want to make things quickly or in big batches. Great card and I am loving DIE-cember, too!
