Sassy Sayings with a Splash of Color

Hi Simon friends! So good to see you again! I’m excited to share with you a card trio I created with some of Technique Tuesday’s sassy sentiment stamps. Technique Tuesday periodically started releasing some sassy themed sentiment stamp sets. These sentiment stamps are super witty and super duper fun!
I love the sassy nature of these stamps so I really wanted the phrases to stand out on these cards. I created simple backgrounds by brushing on watercolors onto watercolor paper and splattering dots of water on top.
This first card is a simple birthday card created with the Sassy Birthday stamp set. The phrase sure makes me chuckle. To add a little extra visual interest to the sentiment, I stamped three stamps around it and then added a little color.
This second card (created with the Sassy Family stamp set) was made with a mom in mind. Can anyone out there relate these words?
I’m just a dog mom, but I know I can relate! Wink!
Finally, this last card features one of my favorite phrases from the Sassy Expensive stamp set. I wanted to kick things up a notch for this card so I added die-cut gems and crystal dots to the background.
