Safe Travels (September 2013 Card Kit)

Hi all! Happy Thursday!

Today I have a video and card for you made using supplies from the September 2013 Card Kit. I created a window card with one of the car wood veneers in the center of the window. I also sponged on some ink using the Small Banners stencil and then white embossed the “Safe Travels” greeting from the Life is a Journey stamp set (available outside the kit as well) over the top. :)

  5. Really, really super-duper adorable, Kristina! This card is just so sweet, and I smiled through most of the video :) I love it ALL, and especially the heart at the end! Here’s an idea for the last part you mentioned about adding the flap inside so you can write more underneath it: use a black flap (so it stays looking like it does with the original black background behind the window), and add a cute little patterned tab (to match the front of the card) on the black flap inside so they know to pick it up and turn it. Love ya! And, I can’t wait to see what’s going to be new on your videos after your awesome week with all the other YouTubers!

  6. I love the window effect, Kristina! I couldn’t quite figure out where you were going when you started, but it made sense as you went along. Thanks for sharing that technique.

  10. “This is really helpful information for travelers heading to Tanzania! It’s great to know that healthcare is easily accessible in cities like Dar Es Salaam and Arusha. The tip about bringing your own medicine for remote areas is especially valuable. Also, the clarification on yellow fever vaccination is a lifesaver—many people assume it’s required for all travelers. Thanks for sharing such practical advice!”

  11. “Thanks for the informative post! Many tourists might not realize how important travel insurance is when visiting Tanzania, especially with high healthcare costs for foreigners. The reminder about vaccinations like hepatitis A+B and typhoid is really useful. It’s always best to consult a doctor in advance to stay protected. Looking forward to reading more travel tips!”Itinerary, travel

  12. This article offers such practical advice for making long flights more comfortable! I totally agree that bringing your own snacks can be a game changer. Airline food can be pricey and often disappointing, so having healthy options like fruits and energy bars is smart. I also love the reminder to load up on entertainment. Having a good book or a fun game on your device makes the time pass so much faster. International NGO internships

  13. Great tips for surviving long flights! I always forget to prepare my own snacks and end up paying too much for something I don’t even enjoy. Next time, I’ll definitely pack some nutritious options like nuts and sandwiches. Also, bringing entertainment like books or games is a must. It really helps beat the boredom, especially if the in-flight options are limited. Thanks for the reminder to be better prepared when flying!Self-Paced Remote Internship
