Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! Please welcome special guest Amy Sheffer to our blog in the representation of Reverse Confetti! This colorful creation consists of their new Mod Floral Stack stamp set in a fun bright assortment of Premium Ink colors from Reverse Confetti! Read on for more information and enjoy!
Hi there! Amy Sheffer here with a fun stamped rainbow background using Reverse Confetti’s fabulous new Mod Floral Stack stamp set.
The first thing I did was to die-cut a vertical stitched line right down the middle of a card panel using one of the dies in the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts set. This gave me a guide for my stamping and added a nice stitched detail to the finished card.
My first stamped image was the upside-down green image in that middle column. I positioned the image so that the stitched line bisected the petals. Because I wanted my rainbow colors to run on the diagonal, I moved up a row, flipped my image to right-side-up, and this time aligned my left petal against the stitched line.
With that second petal stamped, I was able to die-cut another stitched line to the far right, which served as another stamping guide. I did this same thing down a row and to the left and die-cut my third stitched guideline. Using those guidelines, I stamped the remaining green petals, then moved on to the rest of the colors.
The Reverse Confetti premium dye ink colors I used are Navy, Iced Aqua, Lime Green, Bumblebee, Tangerine, Magenta, and Grape Soda (although I ended up trimming most of the purple off). I love these particular colors for vibrant rainbow stamping!
I trimmed a tiny bit off the right and left of my stamped panel so that my black card base would be visible, then added a simple sentiment banner from white cardstock.
