Rainbow Stamping on Kraft + GIVEAWAY!

Hello, all!

For today’s card, I wanted to do a bit of rainbow stamping on kraft cardstock. I love how the kraft cardstock tones down the the brightness of the colors, allowing the white die cut greeting to pop out!

I used four Simon Says Stamp ink pads for this card: Lipstick Red, Orange Peel, Sunshine, and Green Apple. And stamped one of the stamps from Paper Smooches Potpourri stamp set.

For the greeting, I diecut the Big Hugs die five times out of Neenah 80 lb. Solar White cardstock and then glued them together. After adhering the diecuts to the card, I applied Ranger Glossy Accents to make the word shiny. :)

  1. I also love using kraft cardstock. When doing multi-layered diecuts I run them through my Xyron and then stick them together. I have the larger Xyron and find that most of the time I can line them up to run them through thus utilize the least amount of adhesive to do the trick. It is very quick and I do not need to be concerned about them coming apart.

    Cheers!!!! Would love the giveaway.

  2. Very cool give away special for me who is just started building the craft collections. Thank you I love the colors.

  3. I love the look of this ink on kraft! I haven’t tried SSS inks yet but I’d love to! Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. I totally agree, that white really stands out in this card. I use white embossing powder more than anyother color.

  5. Love the rainbow colors! The method of putting 5-6 pieces together to make it pop out even more is a neat trick, will have to try that!

  6. I just love the rainbow colors. I am so tired of drab winter, your card makes me smile.
Love that you stacked the “HUGS” word, and boy, adding that shine was genius, it looks totally fabulous. I need to try this. I love the card.
Thanks for the chance to win products, that is so generous.
    Thanks for sharing.

  7. I tried this with a Paper Smooches stamp set, used Unicorn white first and Soft Shadow Ink. I like how dark the color looks without the Unicorn white. Thanks for sharing.
