Quick & Easy Wedding Card with Kristina Werner

Hi all! Kristina here with some card inspiration for you! I needed to created a wedding card to give to a friend, so I broke our the Happily a Lifetime stamps from Simon to create a quick wedding card. I paired it with the Floral Harmony embossing folder as well.

I first embossed some watercolor paper with the embossing folder. Before running it through my die cutting machine, I liberally sprayed the watercolor paper with water. This softened the fibers of the paper and allowed it to be deeply embossed without cracking.

After the embossed panel was dry, I used one of the gold watercolor shades in the Finetec set to roughly paint over the embossing. This emphasizes the embossed design and adds some shimmer and shine.
For the greeting, I stamped and gold heat embossed some greetings from the Happily a Lifetime stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the video!
