Quick & Easy Valentine’s Cards! Ideas for Love Messages stamp set

Hello, all! Kristina Werner here with some clean and simple inspiration for the new year! I challenged myself to create a couple cards using only one stamp set–a greeting stamp set! I used the Love Messages stamp set to create two Valentine’s Day cards.
For the first card, I used what small images the greeting stamp set had (three small hearts) and created a line of heart “flowers”. It was as simple as drawing stems from the hearts and adding simple leaves! I used four colors of VersaFine Clair ink for the hearts (Charming Pink, Golden Meadow, Warm Breeze, and Blue Belle) and one for the greeting (Morning Mist). I also added some dots and a small drawn heart with a white Gelly Roll pen.

The second card was created by masking a diagonal rainbow with only Post-It tape. I masked off each stripe and blended the colors using a Mini Round Blending tool. I also added some drawn hearts and dots using the same white gel pen.
I hope you enjoy the cards today!

Fresh poppy pods are the seed pods that are harvested from the poppy flower. Poppies are known for their beautiful flowers, but it’s their seed pods that are of the most value. These pods contain the seeds for the next crop and, when dried, they are frequently used in floral arrangements and other decorative crafts. By using fresh poppy pods, you can take your art to the next level as it gives a natural and pleasant look to your creations.
