Penny Black Florals + Limited Time SALE

In creating these two cards, I was inspired by the beautiful flowers of summer–trying to enjoy them just a little bit longer before the weather gets crisp and the leaves start to fall. To create each card, I stamped my Penny Black floral images onto watercolor paper using Watering Can ink. I then colored them using Distress Markers, adding water to blend. For subtle background stamping, I inked Penny Black Footnotes using Tree Branch ink, removing some ink with a baby wipe before stamping. After piercing the square background, I also added Distress Markers blended with water to give the background a bit of a vintage look while also keeping things light and fresh.

Beautiful cards!! I too am watching all my beautiful summer flower gardens coming to a close!! I have some Zinnia plants that are still blooming like a champ that I grew from seeds…but the only new thing coming in fall are the Mums!! Beautiful coloring on your flowers!!
