Pencil Stamping!

Hi readers! Happy Friday! Wow, the weeks really are flying by aren’t they? It seems like just yesterday we were all complaining about how hot it was outside.. but now we have ourselves an Ohio winter!

First- the winner from the “You Are My Happy” blog post is: Bunnyfreak! Please email [email protected] with your shipping information and the title from your blog you won! Congrats!

Today I have a really cute little stamping style to share with you!

Pencil Stamping! I found this image of examples from Pinterest (do you have a Pinterest account?! We think it’s a MUST for inspiration and sharing of ideas! Request an invite or have someone who has a Pinterest account already send you one!)
I love the whimsical circle appearance! After some more research on Pencil Stamping,  I found some other great examples too!

The website Babble had an article from Liz Stan about doing these Pencil Stamping activities with your kids! It’s a great way to get them into colors and the idea of stamping- without giving them your precious stamps you use for your projects! (Plus, one thing I remember from being a kid, is I loved taking something used for one specific thing.. and using it for something completely different! Imagination is King!)

What a great idea this is! Create your own button stamps- or any other type of shape for that matter! Just use an adhesive, glue a button or other shape to the bottom of a pencil, and stamp the image! Jenny Doh does a great little tutorial on her blog, check it out here!

And for those of us who know exactly what type of pencil stamp we’d like to make- there’s Barbara Ann to explain! Check out how rustic and adorable these eraser designs are!

I hope this sparked some creativity and imaginative ideas for you! Even the smallest or simplest items around your house can be used for designing, stamping, paper-crafting, etc!
