Peerless Watercolor & Gold Brush Lettering
Hi all! Kristina here. :)
Today I have a video for you of a card I made using the Sketch Ranunculus stamp set, Peerless Watercolors, and a bit of brush lettering with FineTec gold watercolors.
I stamped the flowers and leaves in VersaMark ink and embossed them using Rich Pale Gold embossing powder from Wow. The melted embossing powder has a slick surface and resists the watercolors on top. This makes it super fast and easy to watercolor over the top!
I used four Peerless Watercolor colors for the painting: Gamboge Yellow, Peacock Blue, Tea Rose Pink, and Olive Green. All four colors are from the Bonus Pack of Peerless Watercolors. I like to use a water brush when painting with Peerless Watercolors because it’s so simple and easy.
To finish off the card, I used FineTec gold watercolor to hand letter the greeting. For a few tips on brush lettering, be sure to watch the video below. :)

Another stunning card Kristina. Those are beautiful metallic water colors. I am sure they would be impossible to get locally. Our local Michael’s does not even carry Peerless watercolors, they told me it’s because it’s such a small store they just get what is sent to them! I don’t order online so I’ll just have to wait until my next U.S. trip, I guess:(

Another great video and card! Love the water coloring and brush lettering. I wish my hands were more steady. You make it look so easy!!! I’ve not seen the Peerless water color sheets before. Very interesting concept. Will look into these. How do you store them?
I just bought the Powder Tool from SSS. Do you know if it can be refilled? I do a lot of embossing. =)
