Patterned Papers: Do YOU have a favorite?

Have you tuned in? There’s still time to join! This week on the Monday Challenge, we’re using patterned papers.  This is something that seems to have taken a little bit of a back seat in the mixed media world as we are more likely to use stencils, stamps and ink. There are so many fabulous patterned papers out there that we thought it was about time we put them up front and center!

Once you have made your creation just go ahead and upload it into the linky on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!  We can’t wait to see what you make!

As always, we’re offering a chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to Simon Says Stamp!  All YOU need to do is join in with the challenge!50dollar_voucher_600px

  6. Plaids, polka-dots, stripes, bright colors, fun images…I am a huge FAN of patterned paper!!! This challenge will definitely inspire a ton of fabulous projects! Best of luck to all the participants!

  7. I love, love, love patterned paper…and have a ton of it…but seldom use it! Definitely inspired to actually use it instead of hoarding!

  8. The work of the design team is really fabulous! I love patterned paper, my faves are Bo Bunny and Graphic- 45. I love the vintage, ephemera look and feel these paper designers give to a project.

  9. FABULOUS projects to INSPIRE!!!
I have to confess that patterned paper has taken a back seat at my craft table of late but Fiesta by Kaisercraft is sitting, ready and waiting to play => can’t wait to join this challenge :)

  10. I love patterned papers but usually have trouble using them because I can’t figure out what goes together well! Hoping to improve on that soon.

  11. These are all great projects! I have an absolute tonne of patterned paper and it’s ALL my favorite! LOL

  12. My favorite papers include dots/circles. Macarena’s butterfly card creation is so colorful … and I adore Andrea’s sweet paper pins, but Sandra’s use of mixed media elements is off the charts creative!

  13. Awesome designs! I have tons of patterned paper…….I love my nautical themed ones. I hope there’s time to get in on this challenge. I’ve needed a good reason to use it :)

  14. I use patterned papers on my greeting cards.
I’m always looking for small patterns – large
designs take over the small amount of space
on a card and there’s not a lot of room for
    embellishments.

  15. As a declared paper addict, I looooove pattern papers. 6×6 pads have become my favorite for card making, my craft of choice, though I have a ton of 12×12 as well. Currently working with Amy Tangerine’s sketchbook 6×6 pad (a very lucky find of 3 pads for $1, yay!), a package of neutral polka dots and grid from Studio G, and a 12×12 pad, Best of Basic Grey No2. For the last few weeks, I have challenged myself to create with these papers as a starting point, and “shop my stash” for stamps and embellishments to create my own kits. Already had fun creating a couple of projects for the challenge. Cheers!

  16. When I started crafting I used patterned paper on every single card I made. Right now I use patterned paper much less, but I love make my own envelopes out of the paper. The large 12×12 papers are perfect sized.

  17. I definitely dig out some patterned paper and find new uses for it. I love the stuff so much I hate to cut into it.

  18. You can’t have too many patterned papers! Thanks for the inspiration and for the opportunity to win blog candy!
