Oh, Baby!

Hi readers! Happy Saturday to you! I hope your weekend is getting off to an awesome start! I’m always happy to have the sweet & talented Kelly Marie Alvarez of Lawn Fawn on our blog! Today, she’s sharing a fun take on a baby shower card with more of an autumn feel! Check it out!

I absolutely love making baby cards. They are so much fun to create! This one was a bit of a challenge for two reasons: One, the parents-to-be are waiting to find out the gender, and, two, the shower was in the Fall. I have a tendency to always make baby cards very Spring looking, so I decided that I could use Sweater Weather paper to help me give the card more of a Fall feeling. This collection is also great because it has both pinks and blue-greens which helped in making the card more gender neutral. I also love that this card layout could be used for so many different occasions by switching up the stamp set and patterned paper!

  1. Great idea regarding the papers and super cute card! I bought my first sets of Lawn Fawn stamps ( Joy to the woods, Critters in the arctic and Critters in the snow) and I just can’t stop stamping them!! They are such awesome stamps that the ideas are literally exploding out of my ears!! I have a huge wishlist on Simon Says Stamps now and have told hubby to brace for a monthly order!! Thanks so much for great stamps, great products, great ideas and the unlimited inspiration that you provide daily!!
