Not a Card with Nina-Marie: Flower Box
Hello there, friends! It’s Nina-Marie here with you sharing a DIY flower box project that is perfect for spring decor! With the warmer weather slowly returning, I’ve been very inspired by florals! Tim Holtz’s newest Idea-ology collection has some great pieces that fit really well with my design idea!
I adhered Tim Holtz’s Test Tubes inside the vignette which holds the flowers. To attach the test tubes I used screw eyes from Tim Holtz’s hardware set.
I added buttons and Idea-ology Bubbles along the bottom for a colorful effect. The outside edges of the vignette are covered with rub ons from Prima that add beautiful patterns and colors. I also added leaf gems on the outside of the vignette along with Transparent Butterflies.
I die cut a message from patterned paper that was inspired by the rub ons to spell out “bee-you-tiful”; then I adhered a Entomology Adornment on top that I colored with Foundry Wax!

This was such an interesting project. Loved your take on beautiful and using the bee. That foundry wax is awesome. Guess I have to add that to my wish list. Thanks for showing us so many interesting tips and techniques.
