Not a Card with Nina-Marie: Collage Paper Easter Eggs

Hello crafty friends! It’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you today and I have a DIY Easter decor project to share that is not only fun but super easy, too!

I’ll be using some wooden eggs I had on hand (which you can easily find at many home decor stores, too). If you prefer using real eggs for craft projects like this, feel free to do so! Plastic eggs that do not open could work as well. Try whatever you have available to you!

The main supplies you will need for this are Tim Holtz Collage Paper and Collage Medium, as well as stamps and inks of your chosing–I’ll be using Simon’s Pawsitively Saturated Inks and Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

Once you have decorated your eggs, you’ll get to use them as decor in a basket, on a table for Easter dinner, and so much more! Be sure to watch the video to see exactly how to make this pretty clutch of eggs!

  1. So lovely! I like the ink blended ones the best as they’re very colorful and the colors used a Spring-like. I’ve made some with ultra tissue paper from a company that only deals in paper. They have colors like Merlot and a beautiful teal. Used decoupage medium to apply to plastic eggs and then splattered them with gold paint. I keep them in a little wheel barrow type container and put them in my front window at Easter. Thanks for sharing this as love that collage paper.

  2. I prefer the ink blended eggs. I love the bright colors and artistic fell. Maybe we could stamp them and then ink blend or partial color them. This is an inspiring video!! Thank you!!!
