April 2021 Card Kit Inspiration with Kristina Werner
Hello, all! Kristina Werner here. I’m back with a card I made using the April 2021 Card Kit!
This card is all about the coloring! To make the coloring a bit interesting, I stamped the flowers from the Friendly Flowers stamp set on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. This soft brown color gives a different tone to the usually bright Copic colors I chose to color the flowers.
I stamped the flowers with a Copic-friendly ink, Intense Black from Simon. Then I got to coloring! For the greeting, I used a black Copic marker to create a black “brush stroke” area. Then I stamped and heat embossed using the Ultra Fine Cream embossing powder included in the kit.
To finish off the card, I stamped the diagonal strip border stamp from the stamp set on the left and right sides of the card base. Then I adhered the colored panel on top.
I hope you enjoy today’s video! You can pick up the April 2021 Cad Kit HERE, or subscribe to receive this kit and future kits HERE.

Not only does Kristina deliver card after beautiful card, but she also inspires with her great tips. I would never have thought to create my own sentiment space using Copic markers!!
Another beautiful card and more great ideas from Kristina. Since I just received a SSS stamp set I ordered because of a Kristina card, I will have to pass on this one, though it’s lovely! Thanks Kristina!
Beautiful. Can’t wait to get my kit. Thanks for sharing.
I was surprised about the black marker, but I really like it, super for 1 layer cardmaking and really looks so good!
I need to use craft cardstock more if you get results like this. This card was outstanding. Liked the little striped borders on each side and the black brush strokes behind the sentiment. That cream embossing powder is lovely. Thank you.
Beautiful card!!! You really scared me with the black scribbling!!!! lol
Beautiful card and gorgeous looking kit!
