Many Thanks

Hi readers! Please join us as we welcome back Lawn Fawn Designer, Chari Moss back to the blog! She created this adorable Autumn scene using the stamps and dies from Happy Harvest and Sweater Weather. I love the way she blended the pumpkins with Copic Markers! Read on to learn more about Chari’s thought process for making this card!

Fall is my most favorite time of year. I love seeing the pumpkins at all the produce stands, the colorful mums, the cool crisp air and the changing colors of the leaves.  Inspired by the blending of the colors of fall in the leaves and the fall sky I played with lots of distress ink and blended the background elements and frame of my card.  I think this technique creates such great depth and texture and is a great base for creating scenes.  I tried to vary the colors of my pumpkins to create more contrast in the images.  I also love the effect of having your scene pop out of the frame by having elements overlap the frame on the edges.
