Make Your Own Etched Glass!

Hello Bloggers! Happy New Year to you! I have a wonderful blog idea today that can work along side any type of well-wishing cheers or toast!

Kazan Clark, from the Spellbinder’s Blog, created these beautiful stemware pieces using plain glasses, and then adding the etched glass look! And believe me, it’s so much easier than it looks!

First, take a Spellbinders Edgeabilities Die that you like, place it on a vinyl strip, and run it through a die cutter!

Space how you’d like your etched glass pattern to be applied, and then brush on Glass Etching Cream to create the frosted look in the open spaces.

Wait 5 minutes for it to dry, remove the vinyl, and viola! You have yourself your own designer glassware!

Kazan then took it a step further, and added bling onto the pattern! You could switch out the bling dependent on the party-themes! Red bling (like shown above) for Valentine’s Day or the holidays, Green for St. Patrick’s Day, Gold or Silver for New Year’s parties, or someone’s favorite color for their birthday!

I hope you give this fun project a try!
