Looking Sharp! Encouragement OR Teacher Card Idea: Crafty with Caly
Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! I just love when a pretty card design like this one can flex to different recipients so easily! This pretty card would be perfect for both giving to your kiddos, grand kiddos, or students – as well as a perfect teacher appreciation card! Read on and be sure to watch the video tutorial by the super talented Caly Person for all the details! Enjoy!
Hi there! I’m here to share a back-to-school card. I can’t believe August is already here. When the summer first started, I was worried it would last forever. Four kids at home causes a lot of distractions/disruptions in my day. They are either super busy or super bored, there’s no in-between! So, this mama is celebrating back-to-school!
Today’s card uses new and older products that coordinate well to make a card for students and teachers. As you can see, the illustration from the new The Write Stuff set is similar to the illustration from the Take Note set. The images on the Take Note are slightly smaller as far as the pens and markers go so depending on your needs. Check out the video to see the two sets side by side and see for yourself!

To make my card, I stamped the images from The Write Stuff and Take Note to color with Copic markers. Next, I stamped my background using the Ledger Paper cling stamp. Notebook paper usually has red lines on the left, so I used ruler and red pen to trace over the lines to make it look more realistic.
Copics:
- Reds: R20, R21, R22
- Oranges: YR01, YR02
- Yellows: Y00, Y11, Y15
- Greens: YG06, YG09
- Teals: BG11, BG13
- Blues: BG01, BG05
- Purples: [V01, V04], [V15, V17]
- Pinks: RV11, RV14
- Wood: E51, E31
- Eraser: E01, E02, E04
- Grays: C0, C2, C5, C7
Once the images are die-cut, I added the bottom border first and trimmed the panel by ¼” off all the sides to matte a card base. Then, I attached the other images.
I finished with sentiments using the Looking Sharp die and a sub-sentiment from the Take Note set. I hope you enjoyed this! Thanks so much for stopping by today!~Caly

Adorable card!!!
Caly’s teacher card idea is truly creative and heartwarming, providing a thoughtful way to show appreciation for educators. The attention to detail and personalized touch in the card design is inspiring. Speaking of personalized assistance, I recently stumbled upon a valuable resource that lists some of the best U.S. websites offering websites that do your homework. It could potentially provide students with thoughtful support in their academic journey.
Good and very unique ideas, hope you continue to share more good articles like this. Stickman Boost
