fromthevault

It’s a Cyber Monday surprise! If you missed it, our Lawn Fawn Exclusive Merry Christmouse debuted in STAMPtember® 2015, and sold out LIGHTNING fast! Many customers that missed out have written to us to bring this sweet set back and so by popular demand we are opening our “Simon Vault” and re-releasing the Merry Christmouse Stamp & Die set while supplies last! If you’re interested, please be sure to get yours before the vault closes for good!

To reintroduce it, we thought it would be fun to have a short & sweet blog hop with some blogging superstars, starting with Lawn Fawn’s own President, Kelly Marie Alvarez! How cool is that? She also made an adorable card for us to share on our blog! Please enjoy!

  1. This is adorable, Kelly! This stamp set is just so super cute, and I’m so happy it’s back! This Christmas I’ll be giving my little sister-in-law a bunch of crafting supplies as she wants to be a scrapbooker as well :) So now I get to shop for supplies for the both of us, and I’m loving it! Thanks, Heidi, for being so generous! You ladies are amazing! <3

  2. Slider cards are new to me. What a great introduction.
Love the little Christmas Mice stamp set. Thanks for bring it back.

  3. I love slider cards & this one is super adorable! My best friend & stamping buddy now lives 1500 miles away so I love picking out great new stamping “stuff” for her gift. I usually have to buy 2 of everything tho, so we can play with the same stuff!?

  4. Such a cute stamp set and the have enjoyed the cards on the blog hop! I’m not sure what I’m getting people for Christmas yet except for my mom. She’s a scrapbooker and loves to make cards so I’ve got it covered ☺

  5. I am making DIY card kits for my family & friends this year :) I am planning on including a stamped card that they can color & include some sentiments (hand written and cut out), strips of foam tape, and embellishments.

  6. I’m excited to be making some fabric & sewn gifts for Christmas this year. And I will also be making some gift card holders, ornaments, tags, etc. :)

  7. These cards are just adorable! How fun that you brought back such a great set for cyber Monday. I am making holiday cards this year and hopefully able to finish and a countdown drawer box in time for December 1st…

  8. This stamp set just couldn’t get any cuter!!!! It would be cute to use these little mice on some tags and then tie them around mason jars filled with my spritz cookies:)

  9. I usually give money as Christmas gifts as I am disabled and getting older. This stamp and die set makes me smile!

  10. There will be a lot of happy stamper and crafters having this set re-released! If I don’t know exactly what to get my crafty friends I like to give gift vouchers to my favourite stores and shopping sites like Simon Says Stamp. That way they can choose what they like. I only wish my family would catch on and give me SSS vouchers! ( they aren’t crafty). They would’ve been handy with your recent sales – I have 2 orders from this weekend alone.

  11. I buy gifts all year long as I see something that would be “perfect” for the recipient.
I find that listening to people when they talk really helps you choose a gift that will be appreciated.
Of course, they need handmade cards and tags.

  12. Kelly Marie,
Your interactive card is so fun. I can’t wait to give this technique a go. Thanks for your inspirational stamps and dies that keep crafters perpetually creative.

  13. I like to make jewelry for gifts and use my stamps to make tags or stamp on kraft paper wrapping. I’m hoping to make sets of cards covering different occasions to give my mom because she always likes to have cards on hand.

  14. What a Great Hop…and a Great Set…I purchased it this morning the minute I saw it. Thanks so much for the Hop and a chance to win…Thanks again…!!

  15. Such a cute card! I found some unique Christmas ornaments and ceramic cheese graters at a outdoor market in Carefree, AZ! Vendors and craftsmen are there every Saturday selling their products.

  16. Bravo sss! This is just the set I wanted to buy, and missed out the first go round! Can’t wait to use mine!!!! Thanks so much! Merry xmas!

  17. I was thrilled to see this set again! I didn’t waste any time in placing my order–didn’t want to miss out again! Can’t wait to receive it!

  18. Absolutely love the double slider idea, Kelly! Thanks for the inspiration. My husband has a very old, refurbished iPad, so I am replacing it with a new, more powerful one for Christmas.

  19. I taught myself to crochet this year. Everyone is getting hats and scarves. I’m also doing 2 afghans and one wrap.

  20. I absolutely love this set!

For Christmas and adent I made some candles with a tissue stamping technique which I will give away as small presents in matching paper gift boxes! :)

  21. I was so happy to see this set was available again. I bought the stamp set, but missed out on the dies, when it was first introduced! As soon as I saw the email, I ordered this set right away so I wouldn’t miss them again! I make individual Christmas cards for different families so I can personalize them. It takes more time, but it’s also more fun that just stamping the same card over and over.

  22. This set is completely adorable! I have the thankful mice set and I was sad to put it away for the year – now there are new mice to play with! Thanks for bringing this back.

  23. That is just the cutest slider card ever. Absolutely adorable. Thanks for sharing it with us and for the great tip about using the powder tool.
As for ideas for Christmas gifts, well, my husband has been wanting to do the DNA testing to see his ancestry, so I got him the kit so he’ll be able to do it. I’m excited about it and he is going to be thrilled and surprised on Christmas morning when he opens it.

  24. Heidi, thank you so much for re-releasing this stamp set!! It is so adorable and I missed it the first time around. I love the little mice. Kelly’s card is so cute with the sliders!! I need to order those dies lol. This year I found some really cute and fun Christmas wine glasses so I bought several sets and I will be giving those for gifts along with a bottle of wine and some chocolates. I also make jewelry so that is always a fun gift to give because I can design it to fit each person’s style. For my crafty friends I like to make up what I call a “junk jars”. I take a large mason jar and fill it with all kinds of little bits, embellishments, flowers, lace, trims, small stamps. Then I add a doily to the top of the jar along with seam binding and “junk jar” tag.

  25. I don’t exchange gifts much at the holidays (I’m at the age – as are most of my friends – that we’re trying to get rid of stuff, not acquire more!), but I often give my home-made jams at the holidays; I have one friend who gets a jar of each type I make in the year. This year, I also made a very elaborate triple explosion box for a dear friend and had a great time decorating it; she’s one of those friends who keeps all the cards I send her and I just knew she’d appreciate the box – and she did!
