Lawn Fawn All Boy Interactive Card
Hi friends! Please join me in welcoming special guest Kara Pogreba with an adorable Lawn Fawn card design! Read on to learn more about how she made it, and enjoy!
This little frog perched himself up on his favorite tree stump to croak out a happy birthday! He and his fly friends, along with his speech bubble and sentiment are from Say What? Spring Critters stamp set.
The banner saying is from the Offset Sayings: Birthday stamp set. The solid words were stamped in Cilantro ink, and then the outline words were stamped in Jet Black ink.
To create the scene, two borders were cut using the Cattail Border die, one in Cilantro and one in Noble Fir cardstock. The cattail tops were cut from Kraft cardstock and given a fuzzy texture by tapping them with a blending brush and Ground Espresso Distress ink. The additional grassy border at the bottom of the card was created by partially die cutting using the Meadow Backdrop landscape die. A few scattered tufts of grass from the Meadow Backdrop portrait die set complete the scene. All of the grassy elements were lightly ink blended with Noble Fir ink. The background panel and banner were ink blended with Moonstone and Forget-me-not ink.
To add the element of surprise, the tree stump and three grassy openings were cut using the Lift-the-flap Meadow die set. They each reveal images from A Bug Deal stamp set. All of the images were stamped in Jet Black ink and colored with Copic markers.
