Ink Blending and Die Cutting with Prisma Glitter Accenting

Feb 5 top angle

Hi friends! TGIF! It’s always a pleasure to welcome the sweet and talented Laura Bassen to our blog as a guest! She has whipped up a sparkly masterpiece just in time for Valentine’s Day, but this design is really great for any old time! The sentiment is from our Hello Beautiful stamp set and those sweet heart borders are the Heart Banner from our latest You Have My Heart release! The BAM of sparkle on this die border is made with Prisma glitter.

Enjoy!

  1. I have got to put that heart banner die on my wish list! Your card is absolutely beautiful. It’s simple, but so rich & elegant.

  2. I love this card and all the tips she gave, from die cutting the hearts in foam, to adding the stripped paper at the bottom and the little hearts add back to the die cut. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Oh my word…..is there anything you can’t make??? I still am in awe of your ink blending. Nobody does it as good as you do!!!! I love this card…the hearts are to cute and I love the tone on tone stripes that you made, it just set off the card perfectly,
Thanks again Laura for doing what you do best!!!!
